I noticed that some of you have questions when you see me using incense or cleansing the space with herbs, so here is a short explanation.
When herbs burn, they release aromatic compounds. Through our sense of smell, these scents affect the limbic system - the part of the brain connected to emotions and memory. This is why certain smells can instantly change how we feel.
It can help reduce tension and create a calm, focused atmosphere for practice or rest. It’s not magic - it’s a simple effect of scent and small rituals on the nervous system.
