CLUB STATEMENT: RELEGATION AND THE FUTURE

EVERYONE at Arua Hill shares our fans' deep disappointment that the club has not been able to continue playing in the Uganda Premier League this season, despite the best efforts of players and staff.

We would like to thank our fantastic Supporters and Sponsors for their unswerving and passionate backing home and away in what has been a very challenging season for everyone connected to the Arua Hill SC.

The new management fully accepts that mistakes have been made which have contributed to our relegation.

We appealed to the APPEALS BODY OF FUFA hoping for a second chance of hearing but unfortunately ,the appeal was not considered.

Work is already under way to learn from this experience as we focus all of our energies and resources on competing in the BET PAWA FUFA Big League in the 2024/25 season.

Coach Ssempigi, who has done an admirable job in difficult circumstances, is expected to continue giving his leadership expertise at the Club.

We remain committed to Football development.

To all West Nile Sports supporters,

Over the years, we have all witnessed the great passion which football generates, and the deep loyalty our fans have for our Clubs.

This love for sports by the people of West Nile is exhibited in the multitudes of fans in FUFA Drum matches too.

It is the same support you used to exhibit during matches of Onduparaka FC as well as Arua Hill SC.

Considering the unfortunate state of the TWO most followed and supported football Clubs in West Nile (Arua Hill SC and Onduparaka FC), we wish to join hands with all stakeholders to uplift football in the region and we want to show that we can put things right.

Although the wounds are raw and I understand that it will take time for the scars to heal, I am personally committed to rebuilding trust with our fans and learning from the message you delivered with such conviction.

We believe that our decision to shift our UPL Second Round matches was the most appropriate given our current financial challenges. However, we fully accept that the ARUA HILL SC must stay and play within West Nile region.

We also realise that we need to better communicate with you, our fans, because you will always be at the heart of the club.

In the background, you can be sure that we are taking the necessary steps to rebuild relationships with other stakeholders across the game, with a view to working together on solutions to the long-term challenges facing the football in West Nile region.

Right now, our priority is to continue to support all of our teams as they push for the strongest possible finish to the season.

In closing, I would like to recognise that it is your support which makes this club so great, and we thank you for that. I would also like to affirm that very soon we will be presenting to you a structure that recognises every body involvement in the future of our Club. Amakongolo we will stay and stand.

Good morning our fans, media and the whole football fraternity.

Arua Hill SC wishes to thank all you for the continued support.

In reference to the current UPL league fixtures released for the second round; of which our team is missing out,we would like to assure our fans that we are making everything possible to rectify a few challenges affecting the club.

We have until 29th January (Monday)to appeal the decision against us.

We hope the football governing body shall give us a second chance/fair hearing!!

Why Dynamic SS partnership

We have listened carefully to the reaction of our fans and other key stakeholders.

We are very committed to working with others across the football community to come up with sustainable solutions to the long-term challenges facing the Club.
We took a decision to partner with Dynamic SS, a footballing School based in Mukono to ease our Juniors participation in a League starting on 4th February despite our current financial challenges.

Against that background, we chose to work with Dynamic SS because 75% of the teams in our group (Treble) are based in Buganda and this shortening of this distance would enable us to honor our Juniors fixtures.
