The Zimbabwe Olympic Committee is thrilled to announce the official opening of Session 1 of Intake 19 of the Advanced Sports Management Course (ASMC), offered under Olympic Solidarity!
This prestigious program is globally recognized for its excellence in sports management education, and we’re proud to continue delivering it to Zimbabwe’s sports leaders.
Our diverse group of 25 students, representing various sport federations such as hockey, triathlon, boxing, and rugby, as well as institutions like Chisipite Senior School and the Zimbabwe Army, will benefit from this comprehensive program.
We’re also pleased to have legal practitioners who play a crucial role in policy-making join our cohort, bringing their unique expertise to the table.
We’re excited to see the impact that this talented group of individuals will make in Zimbabwean sport!

ANOCA Zone VI has welcomed new leadership following its recent elections held at Sunbird Livingstonia Beach in Malawi.
Hon. Jappie Mhango, President of the Malawi Olympic Committee, has won the presidential election with a four-year term, defeating South Africa’s Barry Eugene Hendricks by a vote of 7-4. Mhango's victory signifies a change in leadership, as the outgoing president, Zambia’s Alfred Foloko, chose not to run for re-election after serving in the role.
The rest of the Board stands thus:

Secretary General: Maxwell Jele (eSwatini)
