Ball handling is an important part of the game of basketball. Because it is one of the most basic, it is often overlooked in importance; however, without ball handling, the ball could not be advanced up the court or offenses could not be run effectively.
To become more valuable to the team, all players, regardless of height or position, should develop good ball handling skills. Often, the difference between good teams and great teams is in the depth of their ability to handle the ball.
Our coaches helped players learn and improve their dribbling with both hands and also how to execute different moves on the dribble. Take a look at the highlights 🏀⛹

It's simple. Coaches want great shooters on the court. Of course they want good defensive players, passers, and rebounders on the floor too.
But great shooters are hard to come by and coaches are always on the look out for them. Great shooting can make you a super valuable player that the coaches want on the floor as much as possible.

Did you end the year better than you started it?
Our campers most definitely did.
The inaugural ELITE BASKETBALL ACADEMY Camp ran from 15-22 December 2019 at British School of Kampala and it was a major success.
Players developed and refined their basketball skills in all the fundamentals (Shooting, Passing, Ball Handling, Defense and Footwork) and also gained valuable life skills during the week long event.
Thanks to all the parents, players, coaches and service providers for contributing towards the success of the camp.
We look forward to working with you all next year.
