🚨Press Release || UTTA Strategic Pivot_Redirects Focus to ITTF-Africa Youth Championships & Youth Cup 2026•
The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) has withdrawn Uganda’s national team from the ITTF East Africa Regional Championships in Port Sudan following safeguarding and safety considerations.
The Association will now shift its focus toward preparations for the ITTF-Africa Youth Championships and Youth Cup set for Accra, Ghana this July with the same qualified players maintained to represent Uganda at the continental event.

🚨Today marks the conclusion of the national trials for the ITTF-Africa East Regional Championships 2026.
Following the trials, the top three athletes in each gender category have qualified to represent Uganda at the Regional Championships, scheduled for 20th–23rd May 2026 in Port Sudan, Sudan.
