A None-profit making Health and Safety Organisation called National Safety Council (NSC®) will be established in Kampala, the capital of Uganda (East Africa). Trying to predict the future is both difficult and challenging. Now that we have a (Scientific approach) Strategic Plan, one could easily say that we have completed charting our course for the future. We are only just beginning our journey. The challenge to the creation and operation of these National Safety Council programs, however, is in twofold. First, there does not exist standard, technical and educational materials to assist the natives in understanding what Health and Safety is and its effects. And second, there does not exist a group of highly-qualified professionals and experienced facilitators to assist in delivering this information in a timely, standard and meaningful manner. The National Safety Council is committed to helping its members and the public prevent unintentional injuries and deaths by providing knowledge and resources that enable them to reduce risks, engage employees, measure progress and continuously improve their safety management systems. With local Chapters and global networks, NSC dares to be the leading advocate for Health and Safety.
