Providing football kit, baseball uniforms, sports and school shoes or anything to children in need. His shirt doesn’t say Beckham, Ronaldo or Tevez.

Somewhere in the world there’s a kid that doesn’t have a football kit like you do — or any kit for that matter. He doesn’t have bright white socks or perfectly fitted shorts. His boots aren’t hot pink and he doesn’t have shin guards. But he practices all the time with whatever he can – a ball of rags, a ball made of just about anything. He may not look as good, but he sure is good at his game. So

A year has shamefully flown by, but it doesn't mean we haven't been busy. While we have been working on few smaller projects, much of our energy has gone towards collecting socks and shoes for Syrians. Many thanks to those who have already passed along their unwanted shoes. Now that winter is approaching, please let us know if you are interested in starting a collection at your school, office or complex. New and gently used men's women's and children's socks, shoes and boots are badly needed for winter in Syria. To follow our collection please check out Socks & Soles for Syrians on facebook.

These children went home with little shoes & more -- thanks to you and your generosity!

All of us here at the BBB Team cannot believe how wonderful all our supporters are who repsonded so quickly to our call for help getting 2mommies and 4 babies home before the flights were all too full that they would need to be waiting till January and spending another Christmas in jail. You are all truly so awesome, thank you!

To our friends at Dubai Little League --

As you pack up your baseball bag for today's Opening Ceremonies, please don't forget to bring along shoes you've outgrown. Kit Out Kids continues to put shoes on every child at Masooli School in Uganda. This year 350 growing students will need shoes for the start of their school year at the end of January.

Winter wear will be sent directly to Syria while flip-flops and summer shoes will be forwarded to the Philippines.

We're also taking sports clothes and equipment, especially baseball gear. This year we are bringing a ton of baseball clothing and equipment to Lugazi for the under-supported Girl's Leagues in Uganda.

Thank you Dubai Little League! Your support has had an impact!

Look for the red Kit Out Kids bins for your donations!

Your donations to Kit Out Kids go where they are needed and last night they were needed by a young lady and her four year old son as they headed home. We support Babies Behind Bars - UAE in wishing Lourdes and her boy all the best. A special thanks to the Sandstorms & Tracy. The Crocs came from one of your hockey players, as well as a few other needed items we passed along. Tennis 360 - no plane ride is complete without a few tennis balls to toss around at the airport. Thank you!

Thank you Alison for the items you helped donate for the little boy - he LOVED his Tiger and Pooh crocs! # # #

Thanking Curt Sharp at Move One for offering to make a special delivery to some of our baseball friends in Uganda.

Tucked in his suitcase will be 5 pairs of cleats for some ball players who really need them. Curt will also bring a t-ball stand, once used by Maia and Lachlan Macpherson and tennis balls to practice hitting from Tennis 360. The cleats came from a group of older boys who have left DLL this season to head back to the US. You know who you are ... we'll miss you and many thanks for the parting gifts!

Sincere thanks going out to our wonderfully supportive ASD community. Swim mom Kim Bayoumi, ASD Swim coaches Giovanni Bello and Roanne Piek and parents gathered kick boards, brand new swim caps, swim suits, goggles for a first-of-a-kind project in Sri Lanka.

The swimming gear is needed to help teach blind and hearing impaired children how to swim. The kids come from poor neighbourhoods in Columbo. The donations off-set the costs of the program, making it possible for more children to learn how to swim.
