Congrats to Kyle for placing 12th in the 1600, Faith, for her efforts in the 200 and 400, and Miles for picking up the 8th spot in the 200 finals tomorrow afternoon. Proud of all three of you.

Add to the list of state qualifiers, Miles Devine-1st place and DISTRICT CHAMPION in the 200 and Faith Cardenas (again!)-3rd in the 200. Very proud of this Bobcat team. Honorable mentions go to Jeshua Manwell with a 6th place finish in the long jump and the Boys 4x100 team, also with a 6th place finish.
So far we have two kids going to state. Faith Cardenas in the 400 with a 3rd place finish and Kyle Hurd in the 1600 with a 2nd place finish at Districts.
[05/14/16] We have 12 athletes headed to districts next Friday at Centralia H.S. They are Miles Devine, McKenzie Brooks, Megan Auld, Faith Cardenas, Paulette Beardsley, Paulian Beardsley, Jeshua Manwell, Karli Heikkila, Gordon Shaw, Jose Salas, Braden Castleberry-Taylor, and Kyle Hurd. They worked super hard last night in 85* temperatures and high humidity. Go Cats!
[04/17/16] At the Grays Harbor County meet at North Beach HS today, there were too many amazing performances to count. To highlight a few people, Miles Devine won the LJ, and placed 2nd in the 100 and 200. Kyle Hurd won the 400, 1600, amd 3200. Faith Cardenas won the 100 and 400, and got 2nd in the 200. She also set a meet record in the 400 with a 61 flat. The previous record was set in 2009. Nice job to all athletes, as many PR's were set.

[02/13/16] Aberdeen 2016 track athletes: There will be a meeting on Wednesday, February 17th in the AHS Auditorium to hand out season packets with daily and season schedules, parent/athlete contracts, and goal sheets. Don't forget that practice begins at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, February 29th at Miller Jr. High. All paperwork needs to be given to Mrs. Edwards, and you will need to have your blue card completed to practice.
[02/05/16] There will be a candlelight vigil for Aaron tomorrow night from 4:30-6 p.m. at Stewart Field. Come and show your love and support for Aaron, his family, and his friends.

[06/18/15] First summer practice is tomorrow, Thursday, June 18th, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Miller. If you have not yet picked up a summer schedule, they are on the counter in the AHS office.

State Track Meet 2015
Aberdeen 4x100 Men's team finished in 12th place overall at the State Track meet today. Proud of you guys!
2A District 4 Track Meet
[05/23/15] Kyle Hurd will be competing at State at Mt. Tahoma H.S. on Thursday at 5:05 p.m. in the 1600. The boys 4x100 will be competing on Friday in the prelims at 3:30 p.m. Go Cats!
Congrats to the District Champs in the Boys 4x100 relay. 44.05 seconds! No one can remember the last time a relay team has made it to the State Championships!
Sub Districts 2A Evergreen League
[05/01/15] After 23 years, Kaleb Bell, Miles Devine, Connor Quinn and Austin Floch broke the previous 4x100 record of 44.24 seconds with an impressive 43.91 second win against Hoquiam.
