Hey ladies!!! I can’t believe it’s been almost 6 weeks since Hollis was born and we’ve had classes! I don’t know about you all, but I’ve been anxious to get back to teaching classes. Physically I’ve been great postpartum, just trying to get into a new rhythm. Next week (November 11) our classes will start back up; we’ll start with about half of the class time offerings and see how that goes (since I’ll have both girls with me now, and if it’s going smoothly we’ll add some others back in). Our temporary schedule for classes will be Dance Fitness on Monday at 5:30 PM, Dance Fitness on Tuesday at 11:45 AM and EmpowHER at 4:30 PM, and EmpowHER on Thursday at 5:30 PM. I can’t wait to see everybody!!

Hello everyone!!! Jayme here...I know some of you have already saw on my personal page, but our new little girl is finally here! So, for now, there will NOT be any classes for probably about 3 weeks, and then I'll check back in with everyone, and if things are all going good, we'll start back up! For another few weeks after that though, there won't be any of the Dance Fitness Class...all of the class offering times will be EmpowHER. So there will be EmpowHER Monday-Thursday at 5:30, Tuesday at 11:45 and 4:30, and Friday at 11:45. Hope that all makes sense, if not, just shoot me a message and I’ll answer any questions you may have. Also, I do a lot of group texts for those that participate in classes...I have most of your numbers, but if not and you would like to be included in those texts, just message me your number and I can get you added, so you’ll be the first to know about anything going on with classes. Hope everyone has a great week and we’ll be anxious to see everyone!!!

There will be no Dance Fitness or EmpowHER classes Wednesday-Friday this week (July 3,4, and 5). I hope everyone has a FUN and SAFE 4th of July weekend!!!

We will not have our EmpowHER class today at 5:30 due to the weather. I know it’s not too bad right now, but looks like it’s supposed to pick up right in the middle of our class time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! Hope to see some of you tomorrow for Dance Fitness...probably will be playing that one by ear as well!!

Today’s the day!!! Our new class, EmpowHER, starts today!!! Class times are Tuesday’s at 4:30 PM and Wednesday’s at 5:30 PM. I’m super excited to start this and hope to see a lot of your faces there!!!

I have some exciting news!!! The week of April 1st we will be starting our NEW group fitness class, "EmpwoHER", that you have all been anxiously awaiting!! Strength, toning, cardio, sculpting, name it, this class will have it. LOTS of variety, utilizing various pieces of fitness equipment (free weights, resistance bands, kettlebells, etc.). For now EmpowHER will be held on Tuesdays at 4:30 PM and Wednesdays and 5:30 PM. If there is enough interest, we will look at adding more class times. I am really looking forward bringing this class to the gym and know you're going to love it!!!

We’ve got a really fun new song this week for Dance Fitness! It’s just one of those feel good songs that when you hear it, you simply can’t help but to smile and makes your soul feel good 😁💕💃🏼!!!

Hey ladies! So I am going to be adding a NEW group fitness class soon and would like your feedback on when would be a good day/time to have this class. I’ll probably start with it being 1 or 2 days a week to see how popular it is, and then we can always add more if there’s interest to do so! This class is going to be a combination of aerobic training and strength training, so you’ll be getting a good overall body workout. We’ll be incorporating all our various free weight and miscellaneous fitness equipment, so you’ll get lots of variety!! I’m really excited to add this class, as it will be doable for ALL fitness levels. Let me know if you have any questions, and also drop a comment below to let me know what days and times you’d like to see this type of class!!

Hey everyone! Just a few days left to get in on our “Howl-iday” Donation Drive for the Aberdeen Humane Society!! I’ll be taking the donations to the animals on Thursday, just in time for them to also feel a little bit of Christmas joy!! Thank you to all of you who have contributed so’re going to be making some animals very happy!!!

Who else is excited to start our Christmas songs for our Dance Fitness classes?! I know I am 🎄🎁!!!

For Christmas this year, we are going to be doing a "Howl-iday" Donation Drive for the Aberdeen Area Humane Society. Items will be collected from now until December 20th, so that we can deliver the goodies to the animals just in time for Christmas! If you’d like to join in helping our furry friends, simply bring items in and place in or beside the laundry basket at the gym. Because everyone deserves some Christmas joy!!!

Hey ladies! Some of you may have noticed I haven’t been into the gym the last few days, and we won’t be in the rest of this week. Kendall was sick and now I’ve caught it too. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to call my cell @ 290-5079. We’ll be back (and hopefully healthy) Monday next week. Hope you all have been having a good week.

BIG congrats to our October Wellness Challenge winners!!! 1st place winner Coralea Wolter and 2nd place winner Jeanne Spellman!!! Both Jeanne and Coralea successfully complete all 31 tasks for the month, so we had to use the tie breaker of most number of times attending the gym for the month.

Also, thank you to ALL that took part in our October Challenge. You all worked hard towards a healthier you! I hope you all had as much fun with it as I did! I look forward to our next one!

DAY 23 TASK: No soda pop today! C’mon, you can do this for just ONE day! Who knows, maybe you’ll make this a new healthy habit of yours!!

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all those that took the time to stop in to the gym’s open house this week; I really appreciate it! Thanks to all of you, we had a very successful few days!

DAY 18 TASK: We tend to underestimate the importance of sleep in our overall well being. Try going to bed an hour earlier tonight! 😴😴😴

DAY 17 TASK: Go “screen free” today for at least one hour: no television, phone, tablet, computer, etc. If one hour is easy for you, try to see how long you can make it!!

DAY 14 TASK: Complete a task that you have been putting off. You’ll feel a sense of accomplishment and ready to tackle other tasks on your to-do list!

DAY 13 TASK: Use some of your free time today to prepare some healthy food options for the upcoming week. Slice fruits and veggies, hard boil eggs, grill/ bake some chicken.

DAY 12 Task: Try doing a 20 second plank at 5 different times spread throughout the day. Shown here in the picture are 2 different variations of a plank. Use which ever variation works for you!

DAY 11 TASK: We are our own toughest critic. Take a few minutes to write down some things that you like about yourself and why!!

DAY 9 TASK: Turn that frown upside down! Anytime you’re feeling negative thoughts creep in today, try to focus on and remember the positives instead.

DAY 8 TASK: Find a motivational quote to help guide you through the week. When you’re feeling discouraged or down at all, look back at this quote and use it to help keep you moving forward!

DAY 7 TASK: Schedule your workouts for the upcoming week. Write them in your calendar like you would any other appointment (write them in PEN if you’re feeling really determined so that you’re less likely to cancel).

DAY 6 TASK: Practice deep breathing for 1 minute at three random times today. Make sure to do this in a quiet space and to clear your mind during this time.
