Surf Dog Swim Spa is a stress free swim center for dogs. Swimming dogs is a way of life for us and we can't wait for our customers to bring their dogs to swim in our heated pool .
Surf Dog Swim Spa was created to improve the health and fitness of dogs through swimming in a warm water environment. Swimming builds strength in muscles that help support the body and is non-weight bearing which helps to ease joint and muscle pain. Swimming is a full body exercise that increases circulation and aids in weight management and joint pain in elderly dogs. Located in Abington, PA, Surf Dog Swim Spa offers a clean, safe and friendly environment for dogs and their companions. All swimmers will swim in an oversized swim spa.

Great article on Senior dogs! Swimming is a fabulous way to keep your Senior Dog in shape. It allows their legs to move freely in the water with no weight on them exercising their entire body. It also keeps their respiratory system in shape adding more oxygen to their blood system. We love swimming Senior Dogs in our swim spa just for dogs. Check us out at surfdogswimspa.com or give us a call at 215 578-8201. I would love to talk to you about a swim session for your dog!
philosophyofdog.com Exercise for senior dogs is exceptionally important, but finding a comfortable exercise routine can be a little tricky when your dog has arthritis.
Agreed! I love them all!

Did you know there’s a dog swim spa in Willow Grove? My old “pups” go for therapeutic reasons but some go for the fun. Here’s my girl Dorney doing her laps to heal from knee surgery. Can you tell she hates the water??

As owner of Surf Dog Swim Spa, many of my customers ask if I swim my own dogs. My answer is always very rarely, as I am swimming their dogs. However, the time has come to swim my 9 yr old Border Collie, Sparky. Three weeks ago he suffered a seizure and a stroke. Though very scary in the first 72 hours, he is now recovering fairly well. He now has a head tilt and is affected on his left side. He is clumsy and needs help on stairs, but otherwise seems good. Today I started swimming him to help his motor skills in his legs. I have had good luck helping other dogs, I hope we can get him back to his old self. He seemed pretty happy after his swim. Now, time for a nap! Have a fabulous day! Jim

So glad we could help in Nubz's recovery! A big thank you to Carla Boyd for raising this special pup and for getting Surf Dog Swim Spa involved in Nubz's journey.
Nubz was born in a puppy mill, and he lost two of his feet there. But he’s worked SO hard to get better, and now he’s ready to start a whole new life! Today on Comeback Kids: Animal Edition, his foster mom is introducing him to his new dad, who saw a video of him and decided to drive ALL the way across the country to pick him up and take him home.
