Carebands by Nicole I created Carebands after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Chemo took my hair, Carebands gave it back. I was confident and comfortable during my battle.

Hi Everybody, I just wanted to pass along the attached flier for those who may be looking for a fun night out! MARC is hosting our annual fundraiser/Casino Night on Saturday, October 17th at 7 pm at AOH Division 39, 7229 Tulip St.

As you are aware, one of our main objectives as a nonprofit organization is to help individuals and organizations with monetary donations to help their respective causes. Over the course of the past year, MARC provided 30 organizations or individuals with over $24,000.00 in donations, a feat that couldn’t
have been accomplished without your continued financial support!!
It’s events like this one that allow MARC to sustain this level of
giving to others.

So please come out and support us on the 17th!! If you have
any questions, please let me know and help us spread the word
about this event!

Under 10 Days till Race day, Are you Ready?

Broad Street Run is a BIG deal So just how big is the Broad Street 10-mile run?

Hi,

I just wanted to touch base with you as the 2015 Broad St Run
is now a little more than a week away! Some housekeeping items
that I want to pass along:

I will be giving out our MARC/Friends of Nicole and Steven running shirts
and socks on Wednesday, April 29th and Friday, May 1st, from 6 to 8 pm.
The shirts can be picked up at the Ancient Order of Hibernians clubhouse, located at 7229 Tulip
St. AOH is located on Tulip between Wellington and Cottman Ave. Parking
is available.

I will be located in the main hall. Just come through the double doors off
of the parking lot. For those of you who are unable to pick up your
shirt (s) either of these dates, please let me know as soon as possible
and I will make every effort to deliver it or mail it to you
prior to the May 3rd run. We ask that all runners participating in our
event to please wear their shirts on the day of the run as a show of support for Nicole and Steven.

Just respond to this email and provide me with the address of
where you would like your shirt to be dropped off/mailed if you
are unable to get to the AOH. Please don’t delay in responding if this
is the case.

I also want to remind everyone that the run starts at 8:00 am this year.
This is a time change from the originally scheduled start so please take
note.

I have also attached to this email a diagram of the Navy Yard parade grounds , which
are located at the finish of the run. The diagram will show you the general vicinity of
where our tent is usually located. If you walk towards the 2 big buildings, our tent will
be located in front of those buildings, to the left of the porta potties….we will
have water, Gatorade and pretzels for our runners at the tent. For those of
you who have run with us before, it’s in the same general location. Just look around
for our shirts and you will find us.

Also just a reminder that the post run event begins at 2:00 pm at 3 Monkeys,
9645 James Street. We will be outside on the patio, weather permitting. If
rain is an issue, we will relocate inside 3 Monkeys. Our event
will run until 5:00 pm. Free food and drink will be provided to
our runners as a show of appreciation for your kindness and
generosity!

an address if you are unable to pick up your shirt ASAP!

Just to reiterate, MARC asks each runner who plans to attend the event at Three Monkeys to pledge $60,
the proceeds of which will go directly to the Friends of Nicole and Steven.
Of course, a donation in any amount would be greatly appreciated. Just to recap,
your $60 will get you the following:

• moisture management running shirt
• running socks ( one blue and one pink for our cause)
• access to post run tent at the Navy Yard- water/Gatorade/fruit/pretzels
• 3 hour open bar and food at 3 Monkeys after the run beginning at 2pm
