This is a great article (in a national magazine!) about the growth of High School mountain biking in Mississippi and its potential to impact the health of our youth. We hope to continue the growth of this sport in our area. Please let us know if you have a high school or junior high child that is interested and we'll get you connected to the right people.

[01/19/17] So some of you may have heard already, but unfortunately there will not be a Skool of Hard Nox race this year. There will be an XC race in the fall but no endurance race. Its been a great run, and I would like to thank everyone who has supported the event the last seven years, both sponsors and racers. Maybe in the future we'll look into reviving the event, but for now I think our efforts are better spent in other ventures.
[10/05/16] Hey, does anyone have some pictures from Nox this year that can be shared on here? Thanks!
[09/18/16] working on the USA cycling results upload. Will have it up ASAP.

I don't know if anyone is actually interested, but here are the results!!

[09/14/15] 2015 Results!!!
[09/11/15] I'll post results this weekend. I've been concentrating on work and sleeping this week. First day I've felt normal all week.
Talked with Ranger Furr and Camp Host, Richard this morning. They were full of praise for the condition of the Rec area after the race. Thank you all for cleaning up your space and for keeping the beer under wrap! This assures our welcome back next year.
Oh, to the person who lost their "gel" flask along the trail... Wow. Just wow.
Skool of Hard Nox 50 continues. 75 handmade directional arrows and signs collected off the course and awaiting storage in the attic. The red tape all comes down too, eventually.
And course cleanup is only a part of post race wrap up.
"where temperatures topped out near 90 degrees". Sounds like a tough 60 minute race ;)
velonews.competitor.com It may take a little while, but Dan Seaton says that the UCI will work out a solution to the feeding dilemma in hot 'cross races.

[09/04/15] Lady Nox here. To anyone who plans on doing a little prerace riding on Friday or Saturday how about if you take time to move any sticks/ tree debris that has fallen. We've worked hard to clean the trails and get them race ready but Mother Nature just keeps throwing her stuff down. Thanks.
Derrick here. It is now Thursday afternoon, just days before the big race!
Please take note, that any questions or messages posted to this site will more than likely not get answered in a timely manner, if answered at all before race day. Lady Nox, Landon and the rest of the volunteers will be deep in the woods preparing for the race. There is limited cell service (depending on your provider) and no internet /Wi Fi at the campground.
I'm here in Austin Texas, so monitoring this page will be very limited by Lady Nox, Landon, Mike, Joseph or myself.
Wish I could be there and hope yall have an awesome time and a great race!!!
With my absence, the weather should be perfect!
