I am receiving lots of inquiries about the next race walk clinic dates....which is so great!!
However, there will not be any clinics until late July - Sept. I am currently recovering from hip surgery in April and won't be back race walking until July. Stay tuned!!

The rain held off for us Saturday. Thank you to everyone who came out! We have some new walkers hitting the roads and some seasoned walkers making great strides! It was a great day in Grand Rapids!

In the last couple months, Michigan walker John Cody Risch won the USA 5k National Championships and placed 3rd at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships! July 14 is your opportunity to get one-on-one advice and help from Cody on your race walking form! Cody has two 30-minute private sessions still available at the Gand Rapids clinic. I know there are some people looking for races....here's one!
On Saturday June 23rd there will be a 5K run & competitive race walk on the airport runway in Linden. Since the course is flat, it is a great venue to get a PR!

UPCOMING RACE: The USATF IL 1 Hour RW Championships will be Sunday, June 10th, at Proviso East High School, in Maywood, Illinois.
The Events available will be 5000m, 10,000m and 1-Hour race walks, and,
if there are 3 or more athletes who want to do a 20,000m (20k) race walk, that will also be offered.
