We recently installed a projected Adaptive Floor to the River House condos in Grand Rapids, the tallest building in the city. The owner wanted something really impressive for his living room and chose the virtual pond complete with swimming fish. It was so impressive the local FOX channel picked it up in their news cast.

Our parking lot glacier ice mountain as of Feb 26. Has not melted at all, just compacted a little more.
So far responders have guessed these dates for it to be completely melted:
Jim 3/5, 3:10PM
James 4/1, 11:59 PM
Kiko 4/8, 5:00PM
Leroy 4/15 12:00 AM
Pennie 4/25, 11:00AM
Pam 5/1, 3:00PM
Any more guesses out there?

This is a plowed ice mountain in a local shopping center in Michigan and we decided to have some fun with it. It's currently about 10 feet high, give or take, and more ice than snow. We are asking everyone to submit a guess of the exact day and time it will be completely melted. If we get more than 50 guesses, the responder closest to the day/time before or after it melts will receive a $50 gift certificate of their choice. We will be updating the picture as winter rolls into spring.
Must submit guesses by 2/8/14.
Boilerplate...blah, blah
Disclaimers...blah, blah
No purchase necessary...blah, blah
And no cheating by consulting with Punxsutawney Phil.
Help us out and re-post this to your friends.

Adaptive Projections had the honor of helping Rachel Ermatinger produce a display for the 2013 edition of Art Prize in Grand Rapids MI. She used Adaptive Surface projection technology to bring attention to the subject of Ataxia-telangiectasia, or A-T, which is a rare genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a high rate of cancer. - See more at: http://www.atcp.org/
