[05/13/20] I've got a question. Why do I get notices of false information and thy have added this to my post when I just reposted it. Why didn't catch it when it posted by first person so I could have known that it wasn't right.

I think many have seen my posts about the new member of our family. If not hear are some pictures to introduce you. We just brought home on Saturday from a shelter in Chariton in Lucas County. She was listed as Terrier mix and is 7 years old. Is good with people of all ages. We will be very careful introducing her to people until she is used to living here. So far she is doing very well. When we come home she runs right up the door wagging real hard til we the door open. We do have her on a leash until she learns the boundaries. She really does want to be close to us. (My bed is her bed!). We are so happy to be pet parents again!
The new addition has come to our house. Her name is Alice and we already love her. It was a long ride to Chariton but worth it. She already seems to be at home.
Someone said that they thought I was permanently closed. That is NOT true. Right now because of the corona virus I am only doing shop front pick ups. If you see something you want in my shop pics just let me know and we will figure out a time for you to come get it.
I'm asking those who love flowers to join the challenge of posting a picture of a flower. Just ONE pic.! No description. The goal is to flood Facebook with positive photos instead of negativity
Please copy the text, put a picture and let's look at these beautiful pictures.
This is what I woke up to this morning. Weather app says we will get more tonight. We had already cleaned off some of the flower beds as stuff was coming up.

She had been fighting some health issues and they finally got to be more than her body could handle. At least she's pain free and at peace now.
Here's a really great piece that just went down to the shop n

[02/03/20] Meant to do this sooner but things got in the way. We went to the 4H SESS soup supper last Saturday and it was fantastic. About 30 kinds of soup made by the members were served as well of drinks and desserts. Cost of tickets is only $10 and you can try as many soups as you want. They also had drawings for door prizes. It's a wonderful way to support the kids. I think this is their only fund raiser so come next year and support them.
Found my motto
[01/01/20] Happy New Year to all my family and friends.
Thanks to everyone who came to our Prairie Christmas/open house. We really appreciate it. Hope you enjoyed your visit and will come see us again. Since we are going to be home tomorrow we are going to be open tomorrow. Hours will be from noon to 4pm.
We've been busy. Now we also have fresh greenery for sale this weekend. Sheri brought cut greenery and we made swags and other items pieces. She is still working on some other pieces. Hope you can join us this weekend. LOTS of great stuff!
Thanks to my great daughter the shop is almost ready for the show this weekend. She will be bringing some neat Christmas items too. She has some cute gnomes and other neat things.
One spot finally decorated for Christmas.
Look at the fantastic posters my daughter made for the Prairie Christmas andOpen House. Thanks Sheri!
Just wanted to say a big Thank You to my kids and my very wonderful neighbor Jan for everything they have done for me. Rides to doctors, picking up items I needed, and Jan's great chili. Also to Kendra and Janelle for fluffing my booth at Farm House Collectibles. I really appreciate all of it. Hopefully by next week I can start getting things done. The shop is mostly ready for the Prairie Christmas/Open House on December 6&7. Here are some pics of the shop.
Anyone else's having this problem? Not my pic but mine are doing same thing.
[11/07/19] A reminder that we will be at the school house gym in Pella for their winter craft show this Saturday,Nov. 9 th.
Even more exciting things in the shop. Don't forget our Prairie Christmas/Open House on December 6&7.
Spent last few days working to get Christmas out in the shop. Fall is put away(mostly). I'm tired but am pretty well ready. This coming weekend we will be doing small show in Pella. Can't wait to do a little shopping there also. Several neat shops in Pella.
Had a great weekend. We did the show at Clarinda. Got to visit with some of our friends from other booths. Lots of neat things. Got a quick peek at some of the booths in the other buildings. Found this wonderful old barn and truck quilt wall hanging. Mark got it for me for my birthday. Can't wait to hang it up for Christmas and winter. Now we just have the show in Pella in November and our Prairie Christmas/Open House in December. Dates are the 6th and 7th. Will post more on this soon.
Getting ready to do show in Clarinda this weekend. Only 1 out of town show left after this. In Nov. we are in Pella. Then we will be doing A Prairie Christmas/winter Open House in December on Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th. Friday hours are 10am to 4pm. Saturday hours are 9am to 5pm. We are doing this to stop competing with the Thanksgiving rush. Hopefully this will make it easier for our family members that help us with the show. We will have tons of holiday stuff. Instead of just holiday items being on sale there will be 10% off storewide. Refreshments will be served also. Come see us for some great deals.
