This page is dedicated to getting the word out about AF baseball happenings, such as important dates and changes.
Mission: Our mission is to build a baseball tradition. To do this we need to get kids playing ball again at all age groups.

The first game starts at 10 am and the last game will begin around at 7 pm. We are asking people to contact Nikki Quinnell to volunteer an hour of their time, or, if you're feeling generous, you can do more. If you don't know how to reach Nikki, you can always send us a message on here.
You can see the varsity games from the stand, it is right behind home plate. This is an opportunity for the baseball team to raise some much-needed money.

We realize rankings don't mean much, but it's pretty cool to get noticed for your hardwork!
Teagan Kotlowski pitched a gem last night for the AF varsity baseball team. He lost his no-hitter bid with two outs and two strikes on a batter in the 6th inning. The batter had a swinging bunt down the 3rd baseline and was able to beat out the throw for Wautoma's only hit of the game. Teagan struck out nine Wautoma hitters and made it 6 2/3 innings before reaching his 100 pitch limit. Braedyn Quinnell came on to get the final out of the night. The varsity team improved to 5 and 1 on the year and 1 and 0 in the South Central Conference.
Varsity Reserve improved to 6 and 1 on the year with a victory over Wautoma last night and the Freshman team lost a close game to the Wisconson Dells junior varsity team. All and all a good night when you can have three full teams playing at the same time.
[04/04/19] Varsity and varsity reserve baseball games tonight in Adams starting at 5 pm. Please remember to turn off your headlights if you park in right field to watch the varsity game, thank you!

Good luck to all!
[03/23/19] Today's the day we've been waiting for since last June. Varsity scrimmage in AF starting at noon and going until probably 4. It's a chance for some young guys to prove themselves against tough competition. Come enjoy some baseball on what looks like a sunny day.
Shout out to the AF baseball community and our supporters.
High school pitchers and catchers got to start practicing this past Monday. We had 28 pitchers/catchers show up on both Monday and Tuesday for pitching practice. We have 42 players in total signed up for baseball this spring, giving us three complete teams at the high school level once again this year. As many of you know, this is not normal for a school our size, many schools struggle to field two teams, let alone three.
We attribute this to several things, mainly, the adults in our community that volunteer their time to ensure our youth participants are receiving positive experiences and having fun at the lower levels, also, our financial supporters, donors, and community members that help support our programs in many different ways. Please know, you all have helped us build a baseball program in AF that we can be proud of and continue to enjoy for many years to come. We hope to see all of you at the games this spring and summer.
Registration is Open and FREE!
Due to the success of our Sportsmans Night Out, there will be no player fees this year for all traveling baseball players. Remember, this is not Little League, that is a different program and runs a little earlier than the summer program. The summer program plays in a few local weekend tournaments and the older kids also play during the week. You can register your player/s for free at the link below. Looking for ages 8 through 19, the more the merrier.
[02/17/19] What a great event last night. We thank the Adams-Friendship community from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. Also, a big shout out to Jenny Henson, Rick Roenneburg, Matt Blakeley, JC Dummitt, Brian Morley, and Jason West for setting this event up every year, without you, this isn't possible. This was by far the best one we've had and it was made possible by those people above and the awesome sponsors we had for the event. I would name all of the event volunteers but would be afraid to miss someone, but to all of, thank you, you also make this a great experience for our community. To Connell's Cedar Shack, absolutely top-notch service, servicing 235+ prime rib, and Cornish hen dinners in under 30 minutes, it was impressive to see how fast the dinner line moved last night and the food was excellent. The AF softball and baseball communities just got stronger because of every single person that either helped, donated or came to the event last night! THANK YOU!
Concession stand/press box construction has started. No more selling food out of a camper, long overdue! Another positive, the field is almost playable, it's giving us the itch. Spring is almost here!
If you're planning on attending the Sportsman's Night Out, tickets must be paid for before January 28th in order to be entered into the cash raffles. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
Congratulations to these three young men for being committed all summer and again sticking to your commitments and showing up and representing Adams-Frienship baseball at the 2018 All-Star game at Fox Cities Stadium. You all played great and it was a pleasure seeing you three get this opportunity, you three deserve it! Griffin West Braedyn Quinnell Teagan Kotlowski.

Burt Morris, what a beautiful picture.
Congratulations to the 14u team for taking 1st place at the Shelby baseball tournament in LaCrosse this weekend.
Do coaches play favorites, you bet they do! They favor a player that is coachable, shows up to practice, works hard on and off the field, is respectful, accountable, a great teammate, and doesn't have excuses. If you miss a game or practice, no matter what the excuse, expecting to get the same playing time as someone that is there everyday is absurd. Instead of parents complaining about how much their kid is playing, or what position they are playing, or making this about them, just sit back and enjoy the little time you get to watch them play before it's all over. I promise you that if parents left their biased opinions to themselves, the kids would be just fine as long as they are getting to play with their buddies. Or, you could always ruin his experience with your negative thoughts and comments and end up with the kid that when he is 30 telling everybody how good he was but the coach didn't like him, so he quit, lol. If you think this is about you, it probably is, if not, thank you for making it about the kids - Coach West
