repost via @instarepost20 from @crunchgym #CrunchBeachBody is back! Week 1 is all about ARMS! Here’s two workout ideas you can do at the gym, starting with... • 1. BICEP CURLS. There are many ways to do #bicepcurls, but dumbbell curls are a great way to start. Stand up straight with legs shoulder-width apart, and keep your core and glutes engaged. As you curl, be sure not to lean forward, as this might create some momentum that might help lift the weight (no cheating!). Be sure to lower and raise the dumbbells all the way up and down, not only to get the most gains on those guns, but also to work on your functional strength. If you’re having a hard time doing more than 10 reps with proper form, grab a lighter dumbbell, sit down, or even take knee. • 2. BODY WEIGHT DIPS. This retro move is a great progression towards full dips. Start by placing your arms behind you, with the palms facing toward you. Keep your elbows close to your side to avoid additional stress on the shoulders. Bend your elbows and lower your butt to the floor. Stretch your elbows, making sure to keep your neck in a neutral position. This can also be done on a bench.
