This year is the 3rd annual 46Climbs event. Join the community of climbers and hikers all over the country (and the world). It doesn’t matter if you have never climbed a mountain before or if it’s your profession, you can be part of this national movement. Just pick a mountain or group of mountains (large or small) and climb it during September 1 – 10, 2017. The event begins the Friday before Labor Day weekend and runs through the week until Sunday, World Suicide Prevention Day.
Madison and Blake have been missing in the Adirondacks since Sunday afternoon. They were hiking near Algonquin, and a search is underway. Please share.

Sunday's day hike of Plateau Mountain was an truly an adventure--let's just say that if you plan on heading up that way, have full mountaineering crampons and the ability to use them properly. Remember--it is NOT acceptable to hike on the margins of the trail to avoid ice! We'd really like to stress that--in this winter of ice, we're seeing wayyy too much damage on the edges of the trails.
