Competition is slated to take place each day at the Academy Indoor Intercollegiate Tennis Courts and Volleyball Courts, located inside the Cadet Gymnasium.

Honoring Lt Col Donald F. Motz (Ret)

Lt Col Motz passed away Jan. 13, 2021, he was a 1968 USAFA graduate and an All-American fencer. Yesterday, falcon fencers were honored to hear from Mrs. Beverly Motz in regards to Lt Col Motz’s character and their 52 years of marriage.

In 1973, Lt Col Motz returned to the Academy as an assistant fencing coach, PE instructor, and T-41 instructor pilot.

We are so grateful to have Mrs. Motz speak with the team and we are honored that was graciously gifted Lt Col Motz’s saber. Lt Col Motz is inspirational for his eternal optimism and his outstanding character.
