Uv2 (You Version 2.0) Fitness Uv2 Fitness was founded by professional musicians, Samantha Mera (singer) & Rob Spampinato (guitarist). Together they perform over 200 shows a year. When not on stage or in the recording studio, it's a safe bet that they can be found either in the gym or in the kitchen prepping meals. Here is their story: Samantha Mera was a volleyball player throughout high school and college. She has always had a passion for fitness and had been in the weight room since her high school years. However, it was during her early college years when she found her true love of bodybuilding and learned how to mold and shape the body. Rob Spampinato was a competitive martial artist, having earned black belts in multiple disciplines by age 18. Throughout his training, he learned the value of self discipline, humility and patience. From age 19 - 28, his music allowed him to tour the country and he was constantly on the road. Despite his best efforts, the long, crazy hours began to take a toll on his health. When Sam & Rob first met in 2012 through music, Sam had already been working as a personal trainer in Westchester, New York. At that point, Rob was overweight, unhealthy, and unhappy with his appearance. He also had high blood pressure, joint pain, and poor eating habits. With Sam's help and guidance, Rob was able to lose over 70 lbs. He now has lean muscle mass, a much healthier lifestyle, and was given the gift of a true passion for fitness. ----------------------------------------------------------------- We now want to share this gift with you and help you become a new & improved, better version of you! U version 2.0! Health & fitness is a huge part of our day to day life and we're ready to share it with all of you! You have one body, one life to life, so why not make the most out of it! Fitness is the best preventative medicine you could ever take. We will be posting tutorial videos, nutrition tips, supplementation information, recipes, workout tips, answering faq's... anything fitness related! We are currently in the process of building our own fitness studio and coming winter 2015, we will be taking on new clients for 1 on 1 personal training! We will also be offering online training and nutrition plans. Please help us spread the word by sharing our pages! We'll be posting some great content that will help kick start your fitness journey & help you make the improvements in both your mind and body that you've been looking for. Rob doing work on the battle ropes!!! Remember, when doing this exercise, keep your back straight and bring your arms up to 90 degrees. This is a shoulder workout, so you want to make sure you get a full range of motion 👊🏻
