[02/11/17] Running season starts "officially" today February 11,with the "Partners in Pain" run.
February 9, 2017; A huge THANKS to all who gave their valuable time in 2016, and now we need your help again!
We will be forming a board of directors (nothing that will be a big time waster) who will meet a few times prior to Wampus Cats Marathon to help, advise, steer, cheer, urge, organize, work, cook, count, talk it up, find more runners, find walkers and tell everyone in sight.
My deep apologies for not #1 using this facebook connection more and #2 for not creating a website. I'm totally deficient in computer skills and would have - still will - welcome any and all help.
I want you to know however I have steadily promoted this event; have tons of sponsors signed up; have amazing folks ready to run full, half and relays; have a growing group of volunteers so forgive me for shoddy facebook and website skill, ability and results! NEXT YEAR WILL BE HUGELY BETTER. THE WAMPUS CATS MARATHON WILL BECOME A NEVER ENDING SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR CF HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS! (so at least give me a little credit)

Hope you saw our Wampus Cats Marathon banner in the 4th of July parade! We sold a ton of t shirts and sponsorships and had a lot of runners sign up for the marathon, half marathon and the relays.
In a nutshell 4 people sign up for full or half marathon and split the distance. It will be a ball. Call or write for more info!

Monday - a big day for Wampus Cats Marathon. Our goal to raise *$5,000 for CFHS Wampus Cats Sports through entry fees, pledges and donations is up to $800!
*Articles going in to River Journal and Bonner County Bee
*We will be on Bloomsday Road Runners Club website
*Order placed for T shirts with the Marathon Wampus Cat
*A runner from CdA with 70 marathons under his belt will compete.
*We will carry our banner in 4th of July Parade and have an information table.
