Wut.. we get to open? Is this real life? Yes! We will be open for some desperately needed practice following the restrictions on our door recreation being lifted on May 5. Shooting for the 7th-10th for open practice. Hit @motosportinc and get your bikes all dialed in because it’s almost go time. Just a heads up! Incase your not sure, the Spring Mudfling hare scramble race that was scheduled for this Saturday is canceled. Hopefully we get to see everyone In May when the current stay at home order is lifted! 🤞

Will we be open soon? I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ But I’m about to find out as soon as this bad boy hits the porch! In the mean time, everyone needs start planing on how they are going to spend their stimulus check. Maybe at one of our track supporters? Or possibly a season practice pass? 🤔

ATTN all RB71 Supporters:
I’m here to be real! It’s even tough for me to talk about money being a professional athlete. Yes, I’m making main events, but no, I’m not being paid a salary. I fight every weekend to make the main event for an AMA paycheck (if you’ve looked, you know it’s not pretty) & some bonus money if I do well. I’m struggling to get through the second half of the season with some expenses that have been thrown my way. If you, or anyone you know can help me, I will help you out with a tax write off, promotion during the races, off season opportunity, potential signed jersey/gear set & other options we can discuss!

Below I have listed what I’m stuck with & how it benefits me, but in reality, it’s the bare necessities.

Lit pro- radar lap control/best option lanes This gives me the ability to talk to a mentor during practice & multiple times on race day to compare lap times with the top guys & figure out where to improve come race time. He films the fast guy of the day & me, puts us on a screen together, & shows where I can be faster. He also sends me motivational speeches/videos to mentally prepare me for race day. Cost: $150/week
Rent- Rent is my living situation for race season (5 months out of the year). It provides a place to stay, cook, & store my bike. Cost: $700/month
Practice track- I have been riding at State Fair MX in Perris, CA. I ride 3x a week. I would like to ride a different variety of tracks, but if I settle for State Fair, I have listed the cost. Cost: $75/day $600/month
Can of fuel- I am having to provide my own fuel for practice as well. I go through a can plus some a week. Cost: $150/week
Training- I attend two training sessions a week with a personal trainer to enhance my performance on the track. Without this, I would not be making main events. Cost: $100/week

These are BARE necessities for making it through the rest of the season. This is totaling $8,300 I sincerely need help with.

I realized the other day that I have never explained the thought behind the X. We view the X more as a symbol of unity than just a letter. At Airway X we host events of all kinds. MX (motocross) SX (night series)
XC (cross country or hare scramble), Quad X ( Quadcross Northwest), Class X ( 2 stroke awesomeness), VMX (Vintage Motocross) and FMX (Freestyle Motocross) each one of the above listed brings people from all over the Pacific Northwest. It is a broad range of passion for moto from a broad range of people that meet and participate in different genres of off road motorsports. The X is the binder that ties us all together. It's a beautiful thing! X marks the spot! The X represents sacred ground. It is also a crossroad where all these great families, people of all ages, and all walks of life meet and unify into one big moto family. Its the place we go to get away from our day to day life.

The track was muddy but the rest of the course was prime for our fall Scarescramble! It’s been a very challenging end to this season so thank you to everyone that has come out to the track these past few weeks. 🙏 Dedication to moto is what keeps the sport alive!

The Scarescramble is tomorrow! Pretty lucky to get some rain. The dust has been a challenge the part few years.

We are still having racer appreciation day today from 10-1 followed by our awards banquet. At least it’s Not windy 🤷‍♂️👍 looks like the rain is supposed to stop just in time for our Halloween party. All are welcome!

We will be closed today (Thursday) looks like we will be able to open up for practice one last time Friday from 12pm to dark. 🤞

A lot of people are asking about practice this week. Dunno 🤷‍♂️. It just depends on rain. What we do know is regardless of weather we are going to have our awards banquet, a kick ass Halloween party on Saturday, and racing on Sunday! ✊️✊️✊️. During the Monster Mash, best costume gets a 2020 practice pass. Best decorated campsite gets a 2020 camping pass. Kid and adult trick or treating 😈. Followed by some live music 🎸.
We will have classes available for all bike sizes. Plus our trick or treat ride. Prizes for best costume during the race. Keep a eye out for pumpkins 🎃 on the track. They are worth packing back :)

It’s a bridge between the peewee track and the big track. If you already ride the big track then please reserve this track for the riders that are just learning. The top layer is screened dirt. We want to preserve this as much as possible so if you see someone on that shouldn’t be please let them know. I’m sure they would want to save it for the kids :)

Open today and Sunday 10-4 pm. This is our last scheduled open practice weekend. We have races the next 2 weekends. Then we have to winterize 🥶 . So... choose wisely where you ride this weekend :)

Closed today and tomorrow. Sorry for the late post but we weren’t really sure if the track was going to come around. Currently raining which is exactly what we don’t need today. Just going to shoot for the weekend. Keep in mind this is our last scheduled open practice weekend and the weather is looking good!

We are going to cancel this weekends race. With the current weather prediction not only holding strong but getting worse. Rain, rain, rain, possibly snow, and now a high of 39 on Sunday? Terrible weather for our riders along with our staff. For you beast mode riders that would show up no matter what, we love you too 😘 . Our current plan is to just run a double points race at the final Motocross weekend October 12th and 13th. We will still be open for practice Thursday 2-dusk
Friday 12-4
Saturday and Sunday possibly still open for practice.
