We're 3 hours into today's virtual fishing tournament with 12 boats on the board!
There are a total of 186 boats registered to fish today and here is where our boats are so far:

Some anglers are team fishing, some solo, and others with a parent, friend or sibling :)

Our anglers are heading out today with one goal in mind — catching 6 or 7 bass! We wish them good luck, tight lines, and plenty of fish stories to share when they get back.

ONE last post for tonight before calling it night. McGregor Athletics & Activities' Garrett Guida posted last week before the 7A Finals at UMD that he wanted a 9:40 3200-meter .. he won the section at 9:46. Today he DID break the 9:40 mark, finishing at 9:37.55 and finishing 6th in the 3200

SATT Tournament Recap – Red Wing
The anglers recently wrapped up their second SATT Tournament in Red Wing. Tournament waters included Mississippi Pools 4, 5, and 5A, along with Lake Pepin.
We had 6 boats competing, and 4 of them finished in the top 50% of the field. With 167 boats registered, the competition was tough!
Anglers targeted Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, with fish needing to measure at least 12 inches to qualify. The top 7 fish from each boat counted toward the final standings.
Final Results:
16th Place (19.61 lbs) – Noah Moss & Garrett Guida
28th Place (17.75 lbs) – Colton Weimer & Gauge Teschu
68th Place (11.88 lbs) – Dawson Kazmerzak & Dawson Weimer
75th Place (10.59 lbs) – Lenny Hughes & Noah Hughes
134th Place (0.97 lbs) – Sawyer Johnson & Kayden Boser
Finn Nelson and Abbey Baierl also spent the day on the water. While they didn't land any scorable bass, they did manage to reel in a few non-target species.
Biggest Fish Honors
We also had two anglers finish in a four-way tie for 4th place in the Biggest Fish category:
Gauge Teschu – 20" Smallmouth Bass
Noah Moss – 20" Smallmouth Bass
