New players are always welcome! Camogie training is on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturdays as 10 am. We have several weeks off from league matches to prepare for Midwest Finals so it is a great time to try something new and join us! Equipment provided for new players.

June has been busy for Akron Camogie! Saturday we hosted Na Laochra Camogie for an exhibition match at home. Many of our camogs played in the co-ed exhibition afterward with Akron Hurling! Thank you to Na Laochra for making to the trip and creating a positive atmosphere for the growth of camogie! An excellent weekend celebrating the growth of Gaelic sports for the Cuyahoga Falls Riverfront Irish Festival! Up Akron!

Match #2 for Akron Camogie! We had an excellent time in Pittsburgh with many new players working hard on the field and learning the game. Thank you to Na Laochra Camogie & the Pittsburgh Pucas for hosting a great day of Hurling and Camogie!

We're excited to partner with the Riverfront Irish Festival this year to host exhibition hurling and camogie matches on the morning of June 13! We can't wait to get out there and continue growing Ireland's national sports throughout our community.

We'd also like to give a special shoutout to Cb.reliablelawncarellc for maintaining our pitch at Clifford Stadium this season. That's just one more reason to come out and see our players in action on some freshly cut grass. 😉

SO PROUD of this team. In August we started with 5 players and never thought that only 9 months later we could field our own team! We brought 15 to the pitch last Saturday and played hard in our inaugural match against Cleveland St. Pat's-St. Jarlath's. Thank you to Cleveland for hosting a great day of Hurling and Camogie!
