🏁Night 2 — Amarillo Ambush Recap 🏁
Heat 4 — Started P1 ➡️ Finished P9
Unfortunately, Heat 4 was a rough one. We battled through a tough race and ended up with damage to the rear-end brackets, rim and tire, rear bumper, and side bumper. With the damage, we had to head to the B Feature.
B Feature — Started P15 ➡️ Finished P11
The crew worked hard to get everything repaired and ready to go for the B Feature. Starting 15th, Kohl fought the car and the field the entire race and brought it home 11th. Unfortunately, only the top 5 transferred to the A Feature, bringing our night to an end.
It definitely wasn’t the night we were hoping for, but we’re proud of the fight and effort that went into getting back on the track.
Most importantly, Kohl is incredibly grateful and thankful for the opportunity to compete at a national race like the Amarillo Ambush. Being able to race against some of the best competition and make the A Feature on Night 1 is something he’ll be proud of. We’re thankful for everyone who helped make this weekend possible and for everyone who has supported 522 along the way. 💚🏁
We’ll take the lessons, regroup, and keep pushing forward!
Forever thankful for our sponsors!
