Alamosa Public Library Hosts Stuffed Animal Slumber Party

Alamosa Public Library is hosting their annual Stuffed Animal Slumber Party, featuring a live virtual Stuffie Slumber Party Storytime and take-home project packs for kids. Stuffed animals can be dropped off at the library’s story room door, on the Cole Park side of the building at 300 Hunt Ave. on Friday December 11th between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Participating stuffies will be treated to a sleepy little storytime with Youth Services librarian Holly, which will be streamed live to APL’s YouTube page at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 11th. Stuffies will be tucked in snugly in the library’s story room to enjoy a restful night. In past years, the stuffed animals have been caught on camera escaping the Story Room and gallivanting in the library! Perhaps this year, they will behave…
At stuffie drop-off, children can take home a project pack with a photo frame craft activity and other fun goodies to enjoy over the weekend while the stuffed animals are sleeping safely in the library. Drop-off and pick-up will be socially distanced and COVID safety protocols will be followed for the entirety of the stuffie’s stay. Stuffie pick-ups will be scheduled for the following week (December 14-19) via curbside appointment, so be sure the participating stuffed animal is one the family can live without for at least a weekend.
Contact Holly at the library for more details at email [email protected] or 719-589-6592, ext. 2550, and please leave a message

[email protected] 719-589-6592, ext. 2550 y deje un mensaje
