Body Tune-Up is the sponsor of our free shirts we receive after 10 runs. The route leads through downtown, Cole Park, along the river, through pretty parts of both ASU and TSJC and nice neighborhoods before ending up at SLV Brew Pub...just in case you are thirsty. All ability levels and ages and walks of life are welcome! Oh, did we mention it's free?!
The hiatus for weekly runs looks to be over, Thurs evening runs and a group that wants to be running central locally - as well as organizing a professional team to interact with!

For several years we've been seeing "Stop Adams" t-shirts at NCAA races. Found out the origin is from "Stop Pre" shirts. Quite the complement for the amazing Adams State running program!

Adams State women accept the Women's Team National Championship and the men accept the 4th Place Team Award! Another amazing performance on the national level for Adams State's program!
Samuel Reid shattered his shot put Personal Record to get 3rd Place in the Men's Shot! He gains 6 important points for the men's team, which put them in 3rd place. However, the 4th place team, St Augustine's, took 1st in the final event, the 4x400 to move ahead of ASU, so ASU finishes in 4th place for the Team Championship.
ADAMS STATE WOMEN WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! The last event was the 4x400, which is fun to watch - ASU finished 9th. Adams State won the Team Title over Grand Valley State, who passed up Chadron State in the last event!
Sydney Gidabuday! What a finish to win the National Championship in the Men's 3000! An All Time Record for the D2 Championships!
Jenna Thurman is National Runner Up in the Women's 3000! With her 8 points, that gives ASU a 9 point lead in the Team Championship after 15 of 17 events scored!
Sunayna Wahi is National Runner Up in the Women's 200! With her points, ASU is now on top of the team standings passing up Chadron State by just one point.
In the Mile, Oliver Aitchison is National Runner-Up for the Men and Roisin Flanagan, only a sophomore, was 5th!
Dianna Johnson is National Champion in the Women's 60 Dash! Only a sophomore for Adams State!

Running Club Tonight! Meet at Body Tune Up at 5:30. Besides the regular 5K route, those who are training for a half marathon will stop off at Adams State's track to do some speed work. We'll do a "ladders" workout: up the ladder 200, 400, 800, then down the ladder 800, 400, 200, which will add 2 miles to our 5K, for a total of 5 miles, which is how far we are supposed to go today.
