ECAC Hockey is one of five conferences that compete in NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Hockey Championships. The conference is comprised of 12 institutions filled with tradition, legendary players, coaches, and administrators who have paved the way for recognizing and celebrating yearly accomplishments on and off the ice.

2020 Patty Kazmaier Award Winner - Elizabeth Giguere

ICYMI: On Friday afternoon, Elizabeth Giguere was named the recipient of the 2020 Patty Kazmaier Award.

She's the third Clarkson University Women's Hockey player to receive this honor, as the Golden Knights become one of just three programs in NCAA Hockey to have at least 3️⃣ #PattyKaz winners.

For the second consecutive season, Cornell University Women's Hockey head coach Doug Derraugh has been named the CCM/AHCA National Coach of the Year ‼️

Schafer Wins Fifth Career Tim Taylor Coach of the Year Award

First-Team Goaltender: Frank Marotte.

The Clarkson University Hockey senior made the most of his time with the Golden Knights, boasting a 16-5-1 #ECACHockey record, while ranking second in SV% (.940), GAA (1.63), and saves (546).

First-Team Forward: Nick Abruzzese.

After being named to the #ECACHockey All-Rookie team earlier today, the Harvard Men's Hockey freshman also earns first-team honors after ranking second in the nation in scoring (1.42 points per-game).

First-Team Forward: Morgan Barron.

The Player of the Year finalist was the offensive leader for No. 1 Cornell Big Red Mens Hockey this season, registering 22 points (11G, 11A) during #ECACHockey league games.

First-Team Forward: Drew O'Connor.

The Dartmouth College Men's Hockey sophomore was the league's leading goal-scorer this season (21), and ranked fourth in the nation with 0.68 goals per-game.

First-Team Defenseman: Jack Rathbone.

the Harvard Men's Hockey sophomore was the leading scorer amongst #ECACHockey defensemen, registering 31 points (7G, 24A), including 24 in league play.

First-Team Defenseman: Yanni Kaldis.

Now a 4x #ECACHockey All-League selection, the Cornell Big Red Mens Hockey senior recorded 24 points this season, including 17 in league play.

Second-Team Goaltender: Owen Savory.

A two-time national Goalie of the Month, the RPI Hockey sophomore finished the season first in the league in SV% (.941), and third in GAA (1.74) during #ECACHockey contests.

Second-Team Forward: Jack Drury.

The Harvard Men's Hockey standout played a huge role in the Crimson's highly efficient offense, registering 39 points (20G, 19A), including 27 in #ECACHockey contests.

Second-Team Forward: Odeen Tufto.

The Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey junior has been an All-League selection in each of his first three seasons. He finished the season as the #ECACHockey leader in assists (31), which included 19 in league games.

Second-Team Forward: Curtis Hall.

The Yale Athletics sophomore was a goal-scoring machine this season, finding the back of the net 17 times, including 11 during #ECACHockey play.

Second-Team Defenseman: Connor McCarthy.

The Clarkson University Hockey junior was a strong defensive presence for the Golden Knights, recording 20 points (9G, 11A) while blocking 23 shots this season.

Second-Team Defenseman: Will Reilly.

The RPI Hockey senior led the league's defenseman in plus-minus rating during #ECACHockey games with a +17 mark, registering six goals and 10 assists in that time.

Third-Team Goaltender: Matthew Galajda.

The Cornell Big Red Mens Hockey junior is now a three-time All-League selection, and was named an All-Decade goaltender earlier this year. He led the league in GAA (1.56) this year, and ranked fifth in save % (.926).

Third-Team Forward: Devin Brosseau.

A decorated four-year skater for Clarkson University Hockey, Brosseau finished 2019-20 with 29 points (8G, 21A), including 17 during #ECACHockey play.

Third-Team Forward: Josh Dunne.

The #ECACHockey Best Defensive Forward finalist was the third-leading scorer for Clarkson University Hockey this season, registering 27 points (13 in league games).

Third-Team Forward: Haralds Egle.

The Clarkson University Hockey senior rounds out his Golden Knights career with a second straight All-League selection. He ranked seventh in the league during #ECACHockey games this year with 21 points.

Third-Team Defenseman: Peter DiLiberatore.

The Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey sophomore earns his second straight #ECACHockey honor after leading the Bobcats blue-liners with 21 points (15 in league play).

Third-Team Defenseman: Alex Green.

The Cornell Big Red Mens Hockey junior posted a +14 plus-minus rating during #ECACHockey games this season, recording 12 points on six goals and six assists.

All-Rookie Goaltender: Mitchell Gibson.

In his first season in net, the Harvard Men's Hockey freshman led #ECACHockey rookie goaltenders in GAA (2.61), save percentage (.916), and wins (7).

All-Rookie Forward: John Farinacci.

The Harvard Men's Hockey forward ranked second amongst #ECACHockey freshman in scoring this season, recording 22 points including 17 in league contests.

All-Rookie Forward: Gabriel Seger.

The Uppsala, Sweden native led a young Union College Men's Hockey team with 22 points, including 17 (6G, 11A) during #ECACHockey play, ranking third among first-year skaters.

All-Rookie Forward: Nick Abruzzese.

An #ECACHockey Rookie and Player of the Year finalist, the Harvard Men's Hockey forward led the league with 44 points, including 31 in league contests.

All-Rookie Defenseman: Henry Thrun.

The Harvard Men's Hockey standout led rookie defensemen with 18 points during league contests this season. His 0.68 points per-game were fourth among the nations first-year blue-liners.

All-Rookie Defenseman: Dylan Anhorn.

The Union College Men's Hockey freshman recorded 16 points this season, 14 of which came during league play. His six goals in ECAC Hockey action were second amongst all blue-liners.

ECAC Hockey, as it exists today, was founded in 1961. The evolution began with an 'informal' conference, which witnessed prosperous years in the late 60's and early 70's and now over the years progressed into one of the best college hockey leagues in the country.
