This is an exercise not for the weak of heart or abs. I admit I was not feeling very connected when I filmed this. I kept collapsing in the middle and couldn’t find the internal opposition necessary to keep either balance or control. Find the spot where you can keep long lines reaching in opposition around the solid foundation of core engagement and you’ll have a successful control balance and a successful push up #workinprogress

I always think of these two exercises like trying to pat your head and rub your belly at the same time. Sure there’s a nice spinal massage and πŸ¦€ offers a divine upper back stretch on the forward motion but you’ve also got a short time to fit in foot beats at the top and bottom of seal and leg switches in crab. Certainly makes the mind work just as hard as the body to maintain control and coordination! And don’t we need coordination and control for a successful push up? πŸ‘
