Hey Everyone.... 2 things I realized today from your questions, THANK YOU!
1. I do not yet have a copy of the Jackpot Trail pattern to post. Hopefully, I will have it early next week and I'll get it up as soon as I can.
2. Jackpot Horsemanship is NOT on the registration form - because it's NOT on the schedule....But it is planned, because I have a pattern for it. So, as soon as I hear back when it is, I will add it to the registration.
Sorry for my goofs!
One more thing...
In PNWIC showmanship pattern #2 states 720 degree haunch turn, switch sides...it means do the haunch turn THEN switch sides
AND for some clarification...
In driving and saddle seat you will notice the terms "track right" or "track left" these terms refer to the direction of travel, not the direct of turn... think "left lead" you are tracking left or if you are tracking left in an arena, in all corners you are turn left. So, you may enter the arena by turning right, but you are then "tracking left"

Hey Everyone, we were going to just give out the PNWIC Jackpot patterns when we got there, but they are so long, we want folks to have a chance to look at them before we arrive. They will be on the website soon, but I wanted to leave them here too. I'll start with Jackpot Showmanship
Don't miss out on this fun!

For those of you who knew Sarah Watson and would like to celebrate her life with friends and family here is a message from her mom:
"We would like to let everyone know that there will be a service for our sweet Sarah this Saturday, the 19th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's in Albany. You are all welcome. We would also like to open our home to visitors following the service. Drop by anytime you can. AND Sunday is her birthday and she wanted a party, so the party will get started at 4pm. Sarah loved a good potluck and bon fire so bring your favorite dish and a camp chair if you can. We will open up the pasture for parking. We can share our address through private message and Shelby Bishop has it too."
The address of St Mary's is: 706 SW Ellsworth St. Albany, OR 97321
[05/15/18] Writing through tears tonight as our entire horse community and especially those of 4-H, OHSET, and IHSA mourn the loss of such a terrific young woman. Sarah Watson’s smile lit up the darkest of rooms, she had worked and practiced honing her natural gifts and developed into a knowledgeable and talented horse woman, AND she shared! She shared her knowledge, her time, and her gifts as a leader of others. Sarah is an enormous loss to All who knew her. She is loved and looked up to by adults and youth alike. For me, as I grieve with and for this wonderful family and their unimaginable loss, I am reminded of a few things...tomorrow is never guaranteed and we must remember this in every action; how proud of her I was when I saw her recently coaching a horse bowl team; how much she will be missed and the enormous impact this is having and will have on the young people in the horse community and so many families in her community. OHSET will not forget her contributions. I personally am so blessed to have known her. Keep close eyes on those around us as we hold those we love just a little closer in the coming weeks. Such an enormous tragedy...to all don’t hesitate to reach out, talk and share. We will walk through this together and while the loss still seems overwhelming, together we can share the load.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
To all the Moms (and Grandmas and "extra" Moms), today we celebrate you! You have helped shape us into the people we are today, and you continue to encourage us as we strive for higher and harder goals.
Thank you for the hours spent at the barn, the miles spent traveling to shows, the celebrations after big wins, and of course the tissues and consolations when things didn't go as planned!
May you fully enjoy this day made just for you, and feel our gratefulness all year long!
Well even all good things must come to an end....the last day of the OHSET State Championship Meet is here and we have a few more titles to award! Good luck and safe travels to everyone today!
[05/13/18] Amberly Snyder is in town! Join us at the event center this evening 6:30 pm and hear her story.
Some excellent tips as we head into show season.
Remember that we take risks when traveling with our animals, and even with the best of intentions and practices germs can still spread. Keep a close eye on your animals.
