The Club has positively impacted thousands of local youth by enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. [12/23/19]   Our after school program is closed for the winter break and will be ready to welcome kids back on Monday, January 6th. Enjoy the holidays! ❄️

A huge thank you to Les Schwab Tire Center and Callisto Integration for their generous toy donations. Our community is so lucky to have businesses like these to provide our youth with an amazing holiday!

[12/05/19]   Interested in making an impact in the lives of some young kids? We have 2 youth basketball teams in need of a volunteer coach! These teams are on schedule to start practicing ASAP, they just need a coach to get them going. If interested, please contact the athletic department for more information. 🏀

[11/26/19]   As a precaution and prevention of spreading the sickness going around, the Club will be closed to the after school and athletics programs on November 26th and 27th.

We will reopen Monday, December 2nd.

Have a happy, healthy, and safe holiday!

[11/25/19]   This last Friday we had to send home around 20 kids due to this illness currently going around. We consulted with the health department who provided us with a step by step guide to properly decontaminate our buildings, which mainly consists of using bleach to clean all surfaces. Our staff have put in extra time disinfecting all areas of the buildings and will continue to do so to keep it as germ free as possible. Any kid or staff who comes to the Club with a fever, is vomiting, or shows any signs of sickness will be sent home immediately. We ask parents/guardians to keep their kids home until they have fully recovered. The health department recommends staying home at least 48 hours after symptoms have resolved.

Calling all middle schoolers! The Club is hosting it's first dance of the year this Friday, November 1st from 6:30pm-9pm in the Teen Center! The cost is $5 and students MUST provide a school ID or school schedule to gain entry. Since we are so close to Halloween, students are encouraged to wear their costume!

It’s our first week of Club for the 2019/2020 school year and our staff couldn’t be more excited! [08/28/19]   Our fall volleyball season starts soon and we still are needing coaches for each grade level. No previous coaching experience necessary, but candidates must pass a background check and have volleyball knowledge. We provide as much or as little support as needed/wanted. Practice schedule times are flexible and start up the week of September 9th.
7th & 8th graders typically have games on Mondays and Wednesdays; 4th-6th graders typically compete on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Thank you for considering!! If interested, please contact the [email protected]@bgc-albany.org or call 541-926-6666, ext. 213.
