After being diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer, Erica Broussard's life was turned upside down. Even though Erica wasn't a member, AF Destrehan organized a fundraiser to help Erica through her incredibly difficult time. Their kindness lifted Erica's spirits and she went on to beat cancer. However, her body took a toll from her treatments, which led Erica back to AF Destrehan. This time she was there to get stronger! Extensive reconstruction left her wheelchair bound, but that didn't stop her from making healthy happen. With the help of her coach, April, Nikki is gaining back her strength everyday and by the looks of her determination—she'll be walking in no time.
