We are a small fitness center in Albia, IA. We want to provide a location for all levels of fitness for men & women. We are open by appointment.

We are a small fitness facility located at 112 South Main, just south of the square in Albia. Brenda Newman & Brigitte Mohler are now both Yoga Alliance Certified with their RYT-200. They have been offering yoga classes since the summer of 2014. The B Fitness Gym is now open. Set up an appointment to view what we have available. We offer a Foundations of Yoga Workshop to introduce beginners to the benefits and basics of yoga. We sell Advocare products and would be happy to chat about the 24-Day Challenge packages as well as other supplements and products offered through Advocare. Our goal is to offer classes and equipment to suit the needs of a broad variety of people. We have a yoga studio located on the second floor, pedicures/manicures, an area available for additional classes, ellipticals and treadmills, as well as free weights and some additional weight machines. Our beginner's classes are set to begin this Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15-6:15pm. 5 classes for $30.

Our typical weekly schedule is as follows:
Monday: 7am, 5:15pm
Tuesday: 9:30am (slow flow yoga), 6:30pm
Wednesday: 5:15pm
Thursday: 9:30am (low impact circuit), 6:30pm (slow flow yoga)
Saturday: 8am
*All classes are our regular yoga classes unless specified.

If you are interested in joining future beginner's classes let us know and we'll keep you posted. Beginner's classes are scheduled based on interest.

Our summer schedule begins tomorrow!

Monday: 7am (yoga), 5pm (yoga)
Tuesday: 9:30am (slow flow yoga), 11:30am (Quick HIIT - 30 minute class), 6:30pm (yoga)
Wednesday: 5pm (yoga)
Thursday: 9:30am (Low Impact HIIT - 30 minute class), 6:30pm (slow flow yoga)
Saturday: 8am *** The first Saturday of the month we will be offering a FREE class at Honey Creek Resort on the Main Lawn, beginning at 9am. (June 2nd)

Our Tuesday Quick HIIT Class is meant to be a lunch hour class! If 30 minutes is too long, but you still want a workout we would love to shorten it up for you! $5 drop-in for both Quick HIIT and Low Impact HIIT on Thursdays.

$10 drop-in for yoga classes.

Punch cards are available. $40 for 5-classes or $70 for 10-classes. (30 minute classes count as 1/2 punch)

Ingesting Essential Oils | Using Essential Oils Safely

Essential Oils are a big hit these days and for good reason, they have so many therapeutic properties and health benefits! We love them ourselves; we sell them, diffuse them, use topically (diluted with a carrier oil), and take advantage of their antibacterial properties in cleaners.

With their rising popularity it is so important to do your research! Essential Oils are a potent health tool and if used improperly can lead to health issues. Caution needs to be taken for those with sensitive skin, health issues, and with use around children. One major thing you hear about is the ingestion of essential oils (a major no-no unless prescribed by a certified aromatherapist -- read the attached article for more information). Regardless of who the supplier is and what the claims are, it is not recommended to ingest essential oils.

A great resource is the Facebook Group Using Essential Oils Safely, the group does not promote any brand, but instead focuses on safety and ways to properly use essential oils in our daily lives. When you know better, you do better.
