24May2020: Dan, Bella, and Gabby had an awesome morning on the river! Big numbers and the average size was up tdy. A couple 19”ers and a bunch of 16-18” smallmouths were landed along with a nice channel cat. What a beautiful day on the water and a great trip!
22May2020: Another great morning on the river! Shane and his brother Seth put a pounding on em putting 52 in the boat and dropping probably another 15. Sibling rivalry at its finest! Thanks for making me laugh the entire time. Priceless!
21May2020: Dave and Tim had another great outing on the river tdy! They put some quality fish in the boat once again and I’m always impressed by the fact that Tim only uses his fly rod. Incredible!
17May2020: When the river shoots up 4.5’ overnight you can either wish you were out ystdy or you can boat some RIVER MONSTERS! The boys put on a catfishin clinic tdy landing not 1 but 2 of the biggest channel cats you’ll see on the northbranch. I’ll let you guess the weights on the trophies.
Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mothers!
08May2018: Great time on the river tdy with Sue and Bruce! They put some quality smallmouths in the boat and a beautiful walleye! Not bad for the high muddy conditions out there. We didn’t target them on this trip, but the channel cats love these conditions. Always a pleasure getting these two on the water!

09Feb2020: It’s been a tough winter for icefishing so far. Finally got out on some sketchy ice though. Definitely not safe but much needed and well worth it!
I’ve been utilizing this technique for years and every angler should learn it. It’s very effective and reduces mortality.
26Oct2019: Turned out to be a beautiful day out on the river once the heavy fog finally lifted. Jaden and Taylor put a bunch of quality fish in the boat this morning too. Always a pleasure getting them out and on the fish!

12Oct2019: Nice morning on the river tdy with my buddy Shaner! Tough bite early but once the low pressure moved in it picked up. It won’t be long now!
28Sep2019: Beautiful morning on the river! Dave and Keira put a bunch of smallies and a nice walleye in the boat. Still in a typical summer pattern and the river is still warm and super low. Be careful if you venture out.
Now is the time to book your Fall trip! The bite is only going to pick up as we roll through October and November. Fall is one of the best times of the year to chase smallmouths on the Susquehanna.
27Aug2019: It was a great morning fishing with Bill and his grandson Matt on the river tdy. Matt loves to fish, and after a few lessons, he was casting and catching smallmouths all on his own! Way to go Matt!!!

05Aug2019: Spent a few hrs on the river tdy chasing smallmouth early and then battling the channel cats.
28Jul2019: Normally, I don’t take people out on the river this time of year for a number of reasons, but it’s been awhile since I’ve been out. Fished a couple hours with my father and then a couple more with the Cromer clan. They all boated some really nice fish tdy and we were off the water before noon!
Have a wonderful 4th folks!
15Jun2019: A little Father’s Day time on the water! What a beautiful morning it was on the river tdy!
08Jun2019: When your uncle’s visiting from Florida, you take him out on the best fishery around! The original brothers Wynn hammered them tdy. Big numbers and some nice size too!
01Jun2019: What a beautiful morning out on the river! Dan, sister Mindy, nephew Ryan, and daughter Bella boated some nice fish, even with more of the high/muddy water. Tough conditions, but they overcame and got the job done! It never gets old hearing, “that’s the biggest fish I’ve ever caught!”
27May2019: The heavy rain and Tstorms ystdy have the river on the rise and really muddied it up. Visibility was about 8” and getting worse this morning. Even in the rough conditions Jayden and his brother Taylor did very well before the conditions deteriorated even more as the morning went on. Glad I could get them out there!
26May2019: What a beautiful morning on the river! Pat and Dan cleaned up out there this morning. I even got to partake in the action! Big numbers and some quality fish to boot!
25May2019: Despite the late start this morning, Dave and Tim had a great day on the river tdy! Tim is strictly a fly fisherman too and I love seeing him catching them on the fly rod! They landed some big channel cats this afternoon too. Great time fishing with these guys as always!!!
20May2019: Another great day on the river in worse conditions than ystdy. Bucky, Ryan, and Shane put a beatin on em! 54 in the boat and lost around another 20. No monsters but an incredible day on the river! I even got to tangle with a few myself.
19May2019: With the river still high and muddy, Brad and Alex had far from ideal conditions out there tdy. They still managed to put an impressive 46 fish in the boat this morning including a nice channel cat just under 6 lbs. Always a pleasure having these guys out!
Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mothers out there!
