New Mexico's premier youth select soccer club fielding boys and girls teams from U7 through U19. We participate in all NMYSA leagues! THE CLUB MAKES THE FOLLOWING COMMITMENTS TO ACHIEVE ITS GOALS: 1.
Employ a dedicated team of professionals whose shared goal is excellence both on and off the field; 2. Ensure that players will be trained in the latest skills and techniques; 3. Provide a coordinated and centralized coaching and administration structure to create continuity in the development of Rio SC players; 4. Create comprehensive monitoring programs covering coaching and educational issues; 5. Refine and update any practices that the monitoring has shown need improvement; and 6. Establish player and parent forums to encourage parents to play a supportive role to players within the Club.
Rio Rapids SC a local select soccer club that fields young men and women from the ages of 4 to 19 years old from Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
Mission: Rio Rapids SC invites New Mexicans to share in what is a very positive era of development in youth soccer. The Club aims to promote a healthy environment, which enables each player to fulfill his or her potential both on and off the field. Players, parents, and coaches should feel confident and comfortable that key areas of development—technical, tactical, academic, personal and social—are the primary concern in each and every decision the Club takes.

We sold Breast Cancer Awareness themed special edition T-shirts, Facemasks, and took donations. Rio players excel again in Arizona!
Four players represented Scdelsol again at the weekend in games in Phoenix. Zylee Dominguez and Savannah Sanchez from Rio 06G helped the Scdelsol 06 team to 2 wins and Makenna Hix and Emma Gurule from Rio 08G played with SC del Sol 08G and saw a win and a loss.
In addition, Tyler Coker and Sofia Gurule from Rio 05G played with the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) National Showcase in Phoenix. After a first-day loss, the team responded with two 1-0 wins on Saturday and Sunday with Sofia scoring the goal on Saturday and Tyler scoring on Sunday. #riorapidssc #RioPride #oneclub

Rio players continue to shine with SC del Sol in the Girls Academy League. Over the past few weeks Rio Rapids players have continued to train and play with teams in the Girls Academy League through our continued partnership with SC del Sol. This past weekend 7 Rio players participated in games with SC del Sol (taking the number of players to have played in the Girls Academy League this season to 10 with another 2 players scheduled to make their debuts this coming weekend). The highlight from the weekend was Canyon Tucker from our 08G team who scored 3 goals in 2 games to help the SC del Sol 08 team to a win and a tie.
