Welcome to the new year! We made it to 2019!

I know several of you are wondering what's going on, what's happening. In the coming month we're excited to share with you what God has been doing behind the scene.

Here are a few things that God is doing.

Update:
We are still looking for a new home. We talked with several places and even have some maybes on the table.

We can't say how much longer things will take as this really is a waiting game for all involved.

In the mean time, we are trying to use what God has given us. Teachers have really grown as a team having bible studies together, building each other up, and working toward what's to come.

Keep us in your prayers as we go toward what God has for us.

2018 registration update from Amber Hoffman:

I hope your summer has been wonderful!
For me it's been completely filled and flown by faster than ever before!

In past years registration has been the first Monday in August; unfortunately this year we will have to push registration a little back. Part of our summer has been praying about what God wants us to do and one thing He has shown is for us to look for another church to partner with with faculties.

Calvary church has been a wonderful host to this ministry for the last 20 odd years. Last year we had issues with hallway space and classroom temperatures leading us to believe moving is in the best interest and safety for our students and their families.

As soon as we have information about the coming year we'll let you know as soon as possible. Our team is just as excited to start as the students!

We've also had a chance to update a few other things during the summer. One of those things being our website. It might not always be physically noticeable but the update will help us in organization and communications.

Another change we've made is we will be taking payments at registration via our website. First day of classes are so chaotic, we're trying to streamline these crazy days.

Keep us in your prayers as we are in talks with several churches and this ministry makes yet another difficult decision and feels even more growing pains.

A dear family, the Garnhams, that were apart of this ministry for many years would appreciate your prayers. The mother is fighting a rare bladder cancer and will be going in for a second treatment soon as the first didn't work. Let's lift this family up as a ministry.

As we prepare and get excited for our first day of class let us stop for a moment as a ministry and pray for those recovering from Harvey and those in the path of Hurricane Irma. We have a hurting world, let's be on our knees to intercede for it.

We are so excited you have registered for Veneration Dance/Jr/Drama this year! We have so many exciting things planned for all our students and parents this year!

Here is some important information you need to know:

Mandatory Parent Meeting
Saturday August 26th at 10:00 AM
Calvary Albuquerque, HUB Main Room
Childcare will not be provided although children are welcome.

First Day of Class
Saturday September 9th
Calvary Albuquerque, HUB West Door

2017-2018 Veneration Cost
We will be doing this a little differently this year. We pray it doesn't cause trouble for families.
$25.00 - Registration fee due first day of class for all classes
$40.00 - Dance Class fee due November 4th
$30.00 - Drama class fee due November 4th
The price has not changed we've simply split it up differently. You can pay separately or pay the whole. It is up to you and your family

Update:
Hip Hop 1 has been changed from Girls Only to include boys due to how quickly Hip Hop 2 filled.
At this point only 2 classes are filled, all other classes still have room available. If you have family and friends interested in veneration you can still register at www.veneration.dance

Good afternoon!

I have good news! Calvary is allowing us to continue using the facility while we look for another home!!! This means we can hold registration with no delay! This is such a blessing and answer to prayer! We may be at Calvary the whole Fall or just a month, we're not sure but we are resting in His provisions and grace. We're currently looking into several of your suggestions for locations but all things take time.

Registration will begin the first Monday in August (08/7/17) at 9:00am on our website, www.veneration.dance

Class schedules are being finalized and should be released within the next week.

We can't wait to begin a new year with you and serve God in ministry beside you
