With no season, they could have quit, given, tanked and closed down.
That is not the Lobo Way, and it's not the New Mexico Way!
They trained harder than ever. They worked harder than ever, and they busted their tails off in the classroom.
This team is the best.

In a semester in which they could have gotten sidetracked, they crushed it! What a tremendous job in the classroom in the most adverse of situations, and we couldn't be prouder of these young women!!!

Our team has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020-21 season. Please read the release to hear from captain Raine Gavino, coach Keegan Ingelido and Director of Athletics Eddie Nunez.
"Every season we want to be able to compete to the best of our ability. We will now focus our training to be better student-athletes for next season, whether that be in the pool or the weight room. --- Keegan Ingelido

The second-best GPA in our program's history! Not a bad way to finish out the school year! It's also 20 straight semesters with at least a 3.3 GPA and 51 straight semesters with at least a 3.0 GPA. That streak is older than every swimmer and diver on the team!!!
