Our girls have been attending Athlete Ready with Coach Jared since December 2016. He has helped to prepare our oldest, Taylor, for the next level as she will play women's soccer for West Texas A&M this Fall. He is also working to prepare our youngest, Kasey, for what's to come with high school soccer. Coach Jared and his team of instructors are highly qualified and work very well with the many athletes that come through their doors. They develop a trusting and encouraging relationship with each athlete. They work to improve upon the athlete's strength, conditioning, balance, and they are BIG on injury prevention. My wife and I have been very satisfied with the confidence and results we see in our girls. Thank you Coach Jared!
It has been a wonderful experience having my boys at athlete ready....the staff, especially Estevan Lucero have been amazing to work with....my kids are more confident, stronger, and actually enjoy working out...thank you for all your hard work and dedication to these kids.
It's been a great experience having my daughter at Athlete Ready. These coaches are so positive and supportive. When you have such great role models and support behind you it makes a huge difference in an atheltes desire to do well. It's been a great family environment. Estevan Lucero and Jared Saavedra really take the time to stay connected with the athletes and the parents. They even spend their own time outside of the gym keeping the girls honed in on their basketball skills playing pick up games.
Making good and smart decisions for your athletes future is so important. Athlete ready is a good and smart decision! Big thanks to all the staff and wishing you continued success!

Shout out to for leading from the front! We are super stoked to have him and his crew with us for the x AMP Series.

The Athletic Movement Prep Series is a recipe for mind and body restoration and progression towards a better practice and a better self.

Regardless of physical endeavor, as athletes we are looking to push the edge. To become stronger, faster, more capable of carrying the load. In order to improve we need to become aware of and balance our weaknesses and our strengths. Our aim is to assess capabilities more objectively than perhaps can be clearly observed in everyday practice. This Series is an opportunity to challenge our strength, mobility, power, endurance and self discipline.

The Base Phase has 5 Objectives:
1. Set baseline testing & goals.
2. Establish regular practice via a programmatic approach.
3. Draw awareness in passive vs active ranges via joint conditioning.
4. Introduce compound functional movements towards absolute strength.
5. Explore and expand cardio capacity.

The Build Phase has 5 Objectives:
1. Challenge personal practice - attend more and or be more present.
2. Challenge active mobility - control more.
3. Challenge absolute strength - lift more.
4. Challenge endurance - push more.
5. Challenge a friend - everyone needs accountability and encouragement, celebrate more.

The Perform Phase has 1 Objective:
1. Retest and realize gains in strength, balance, load management, focus, determination, confidence and overall capability. In these 4 weeks we will be particularly challenged to go from an intellectual understanding to practical action consistently.

This is gonna be so fun!

Athletic Movement Prep is a combination of athletic conditioning and strength work, coupled with flexibility, mobility, and mindfulness practices.

In this 12 weeks series, participants will develop a practice that provides tremendous benefits to the physical body in addition to techniques that develop the nervous system to improve mental states of focus. In this way, we can become fully integrated; BALANCED!

Is training 1x per week worth it for my youth athlete? Compared to not training, yes…

…BUT did you know that according to the National Strength and and Conditioning Association, youth athletes will accumulate only 67% of the progress they could accumulate if they trained 2x per week.

Of course competition season is imperative in considering a training schedule but this is why we often recommend our youth athletes at least 2 sessions per week.
