A note about parking for Lobo League for Saturday, December 2, and for Sunday, December 3. On both Saturday and Sunday, the Nutcracker Ballet will be performing in Popejoy during our Lobo League time. Most attendees park in the parking structure or in A Lot (the surface parking lot adjacent to the Johnson Center).
In addition, on Saturday there will be the Twinkle Light Parade. The staging area is in the parking lot at the SE corner of campus. Because of this, Girard will be closed and that parking lot (R Lot) will be closed as well. It will be best to avoid this area when coming to UNM on Saturday. Entering the campus from the west will most likely be the best and easiest option. A Lot will have parking available but will most likely be full due to the Twinkle Light parade (on Saturday) and the Nutcracker Ballet. Below is a part of the email we received from Parking and Transportation. The Lobo League tournaments will still start at the indicated times so make sure you are on time. Arrive early and see you this weekend.

For all players that have a tournament this coming weekend, parking will be affected due to other events. On Saturday and Sunday the Nutcracker Ballet will be performing in Popejoy Hall. On Saturday there is also the Twinkle Light Parade. Access to A Lot (where most of us park) will be restricted. You can still enter from Stanford or from points to the west. Entry from points east is restricted or blocked. The link below explains the events and has a map showing restrictions. Lobo League will still be played.
