Snap Fitness personal trainer, Erin, gives tips on how to do one:

- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart
- Roll your shoulders up, back and down
- Hold two dumbbells at your side
- Keep your chin up as you move downwards, avoiding hunching your back
- Move only at the hip joint, keeping the rest of your body in consistent alignment as you lower
- Stop your range of motion at 90 degrees, then straighten up to standing, exhaling on the way up
- Repeat for 8 reps to start, adding more sets and adjusting weights as you gain strength and confidence
