Hilltop Farm is seeking a reliable, hands-on Assistant to the Director of Grounds to join our team on a beautiful 400-acre sport horse farm in Cecil County, Maryland. No two days are the same — this role supports the daily care, maintenance, and presentation of the farm’s grounds, buildings, and equipment.

Duties may include:

Mowing fields and landscape areas

Fence, gate, and general facility maintenance

Equipment upkeep and light repairs

Grounds cleanup, tree trimming, and debris removal

Assisting with barns, arenas, and farm-wide projects

Supporting events and stepping into a team-lead role as needed

This position works closely with the Director of Grounds and is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, variety, and being part of a collaborative team.

What a fun time at Dressage Finals. Here are the two I came to see, proud breeder! Left is Patriots Legend HU trained shown by Adam Cropper, competing in the PSG Open, 4th Level Open and 4th Level Freestyle Open tomorrow. Gitana HU on the right showed PSG Open and I-1 Freestyle Open with her owner and partner Cassi Martin. Cassi brought Gitana back to riding after 3 foals. Her oldest showed at 3rd Level Open in TX last month with Erin Bell!
Huge thank you to both Adam Cropper and Cassi Martin for getting me back to finals.

So excited about the HU horses at the USDF Region 8 Championships. Adam Cropper and Patriots Legend HU won the 4th Level Open, Fourth place in a huge PSG class with an early ride time and the won again this morning in the 4th Level Freestyle!
Cassi Martin and Gitana HU were 3rd in the PSG Open and 5th in the I-1 Open! Cassi has developed an amazing bond with this former broodmare, this is their first season in the FEI! Looking forward to the rest of the show!

So proud of Cassi and Gnocchi for their rides in the 5 Year Olds Championship!

One more show in the books. So proud of both horses and riders. Anna did great with George Lloyd HU, he is now a second level horse. I held it together to get Picco de la Noche HU through her first real under saddle show. Back to in-hand at the end of the month.

Great show at Parker with new rider Anna Pallante. Thanks to Sam and Laurel for all your help! Great first outing for the team after a prolonged break!

A huge congratulations to Sarah Stubbs on her purchase of Harrison Pford HU (Herzendeib x P*k L). One of our last from P*kko del Cerro’s full sister P*kko de la Nube HU. I am so excited about this combo going forward! A shout out to Hana Poulin of Moonlight Equestrian for her work on getting Harry in the ring and ready to sell. The most important thank you of all is to Adam Cropper for making this match! Your support of my breeding program goes far and above what I could ever have imagined all those years ago when we met!
