Belated but huge congratulations to Fit to Win clients Steve Hall and Terry Casey bagging outstanding finishes at Ironman World Championship in Kona!
This is the TT bike for 2015 that has all the triathletes running around squawking and clutching at their ti**le. TriRig has done an excellent run down of the new features. The only thing left out is how this bike compares to the previous generations of P2, and the venerable P3 in terms of fit. Cervelo has gone away from the super long / low configuration on the P3, and the new geometry common all P2, 3, and 5 is slightly shorter and taller than even the old P2. This is good news, this is going to make this bike far more accessible to a lot of riders with a reasonable configuration. I'm still a big fan of the Felt B series for the money, but the new P2 may have the edge as I'm guessing it is a fair bit lighter than the B and it is going to be a competitive price.
tririg.com Cervelo's new entry-level frame is probably the best deal on the market. Great tech, great price, and eminently upgradeable.
Congratulations to Steve Hall on his Kona-qualifying performance at Ironman Texas last weekend, nice 4:46 bike split!
I've been saying it all year, the 2013 Felt B2 is hands-down one of the best TT bikes out there, and when you look at the price if it fits you it's a no-brainer.
tririg.com The B2 is now Felt's third-tier tri bike. But the way we built it up, I'd pit it against the best of the best from ANY brand.
Couldn't be more impressed! Fit to Win client Kip Taylor won the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic road race today strong man style with a break before the ski area!
If you're an aspiring racer on a tight budget these wheels should be at the top of your "bang for the buck" list. A 23 mm wide race capable wheelset for $399, while still plenty tough for training on. All the benefits of a wider rim: wider tires at lower pressure = better handling and lower rolling resistance. Neuvation sells direct to the consumer so no middleman. No, I don't make anything on these, I'm just a big fan of products that under-promise and over-deliver.
