Outstanding customer service.
A special thank you to Sandia Cycles for exceptional customer service. My seven year old Granddaughter came for her annual visit and I needed tubes changed in a bike I bought for her visit. The team at Sandia was able to get the bike fixed up and out so she could use it while she is here. This is an exceptional Albuquerque business. Shop Local and Buy local really pays off. Thank You Sandia and staff!
I don't ever write reviews but the owner specifically did a shifty job of getting my business twice so I had to share. I've had my bike for 4 years and I busted the chain, this place is close to the house so I took it in. Everyone was nice and polite but the owner was a little short, rude and not very personable. But whatever right I just needed my bike fixed. They fixed my bike I paid about $130 all was good. The first ride I take after they fixed it my bike basically fell apart. A mile into my ride (on a sidewalk mind you) my chain breaks off while changing gears, plastic piece on the chain cracks, and my chain is totally shot while it's caught in my bike. I took it back to the owner that day and told him what happened. His response was "we will re do it". Came back and charged me $40 for a new chain and another piece that was busted. I had to explain the situation again to him about how the chain popped off immediately after it being so called fixed. His response was "I dunno I wasn't there and we don't have warranty this. Well obviously he wasn't there! lol! I told him I wasn't here to rip him off for the chain I felt that it was right that he stood by his work. His response was "I didn't charge for labor and besides it's only $40", he kept saying "what's the big deal it's only $40". lol WOW....Zero integrity behind this guy. I had already made a scene at this point and told him I would pay what was asked of me and be on my way. He apologized to me for not being there to see it happen which was comical. I apologized for the scene I made, shook his hand and thanked him for his time on my bike. I understand that people probably give crazy stories to get work on their bike comped but this wasn't the case and in the owners words "What was the big deal it was only $40?" Right? lol anyways if this business needed my $40 that bad to hit their financial goals for the month so be it. It's not worth dealing with this owner even if it was a 3 min drive from my house.
Big thanks to the staff at Sandia cycles who were able to get and install training wheels for my son's new bike. My son has autism and issues with motor skills. I knew he'd still need training wheels on his bigger bike but was so worried this wouldn't be possible. They made it happen! Very grateful!
Thanks for keeping our bikes on good order. You have a great shop. We recommend to othed when the subject comes up.
Thanks Trace!

Grant Theodore's CDH journey

Thank you for your continued support of our local business!

If you are unaware of how your support helps our family personally, here is our son’s journey with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.

Thanks to your support, our family was able to temporarily relocate to Phoenix, Az for his birth and surgeries, his NICU stay, and have come home for his continued care. Without this care, we would have lost our sweet boy. Words cannot thank you enough for your patronage at our shop and the help that has given to our family!

Here is where you will find our son's journey and fight with CDH - Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

The Bike Comes First

All carbon is not created equal. Support your local bike shop, talk with a real mechanic, not the keyboard commando online selling you parts that cost less than wholesale. Keep yourself safe, friends! We want you around for a long time.

Scary stuff. Beware of cheap branded bike parts. They are probably fakes.

We've said it many times before, but we can't say it enough! Thank you for shopping at Sandia Cycles, you help us support our families and we are forever grateful for your patronage.

Happy Small Business Saturday, folks! We've made it past the Black Friday rush and the coast should be clear now. Come support local, small businesses and finish up that holiday shopping! :)

New art work for the shop? Thank you Six Flags for the idea!

When you buy from our small, local business you are helping pay for dance classes for our kiddos, a mortgage and food on our table. We thank you for that!

Just a few reasons why I support small businesses. So what if you have to pay a little bit more? My friend Amy D reminds me to be a generous tipper. Many people work hard in the service industry and they rely on our generosity to support their family. Let's spend our money wisely - to help and support one another.

Wayne Ford F Cancer Fund

All who are able, please share what you can to help Courtney dig her way out of medical debt. Arizona is a community property state, which also means Courtney is still responsible for Wayne's remaining medical debt. Wayne fought a long, hard, and incredibly courageous battle. Even though cancer won the fight, the battle is still not over. He would never have dreamt of leaving his beautiful wife with this burden and responsibility, to fight on her own. Courtney was by Wayne's side for every possible second, fighting right along side him. Let's help ease this burden for her, in Wayne's memory.
Thank you all! Thank you to all our family & friends for your generous donations, prayers and love! After fighting like a beast for 5 years ,our hero Wayne lost his fight on Feb 3rd. After all they went throug...

My cousin, Wayne, is currently battling his fourth round of leukemia. He is in a clinical trial right now, in the hopes of getting him into remission and we'll enough to receive a second stem cell transplant. As such, the medical bills are astronomical. If you can find it in your heart, and pocketbook, to donate even even a dollar, you would be immensely helping out one of the most amazing men I have ever known. If you can't donate, even prayers and positive thoughts are so appreciated!

Also, if you could please share the crap out of this link, I would be eternally grateful!
