Me: Hey God.

God: Hello, my love.

Me: I'm falling apart. Can you put me back together?

God: I would rather not.

Me: Why?

God: Because you aren't a puzzle.

Me: What about all of the pieces of my life that are falling down onto the ground?

God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back.

Me: You don't understand! I'm breaking down!

God: No - you don't understand. You are breaking through. What you are feeling are just growing pains. You are shedding the things and the people in your life that are holding you back. You aren't falling apart. You are falling into place. RELAX. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don't need anymore to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don't fit you anymore. Let them fall off. Let them go.

Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?

God: Only the very best pieces of you.

Me: I'm scared of changing.

God: I keep telling you - YOU AREN'T CHANGING!! YOU ARE BECOMING!

Me: Becoming who?

God: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light and love and charity and hope and courage and joy and mercy and grace and compassion. I made you for more than the shallow pieces you have decided adorn yourself, which you cling to with such greed and fear. Let those things fall off of you. I love you! Don't change! Become! Become who I made you to be. I'm going to keep telling you this until you remember it.

Shilajit, pronounced “sheel-a-jeet,” translated from Sanskrit meaning the destroyer of weakness, is a dark, sticky substance rich in minerals that exudes from the rocks of the Himalayas in the heat of the summer.

This sticky black excretion from these Himalayan rocks have some impressive health benefits. Shilajit has been used medicinally around the world for over 3,000 years. Pineapple Bromelain Assisting You to Breathe Abundantly
Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme found in pineapple and other plants. This enzyme is very good at breaking proteins down, which it is most used for, but bromelain is also affects in the lungs. Studies suggest that Bromelains anti-inflammatory properties may be due to the enzymes influence on nuetrophils in the sites of inflammation. The enzyme seems to reduce it ability by 50% for leukocytes to adhere to the sites. Bromelain has been show to reduce localized and systemic inflammation.

In a mouse model of allergic airway disease (AAD) oral supplementation with bromelain at 6mg/kg exerted anti-inflammatory properties as illustrated by significant reduction of inflammatory markers compared to placebo. Reduced inflammatory markers and compounds included bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) total leukocytes eosinophils and interleukins IL-4 IL-12 IL-17 and IFN-I±. These results confirmed earlier findings that employed intraperitoneal bromelain supplementation which led to attenuated development of AAD and reduced levels of CD4+ T-lymphocytes. This is significant because researchers have concluded that depletion of CD4+ T cells in the animal model prevents pulmonary eosinophilia and airway hyperresponsiveness.

1 cup quinoa
1 cup Basmati Rice
1 can coconut milk
2 and 1/2 cup water
8 dates cut up into 1/4 inch pieces
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Honey
Set instapot to rice setting
Let Depressurize naturally
Pour and stir in 1 more can of coconut milk and enjoy with extra toppings like almond slices, coconut flakes or just by itself.

Quinoa is a complete plant protein which offers about 25% more protein than other grains and all of the essential amino acids in perfect balance. Quinoa is known as the mother grain; a power packed superfood which contains protein, fiber, fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins.
Dates are a great natural sweetener and have a nice nutritional profile containing vitamins minerals and fiber! Dates have disease fighting antioxidants like flavonoid, carotenoids, and phenol acid. Dates may also improve brain function by lowering inflammation markers of IL6 interleukin 6 in the brain.
Coconut milk contains antioxidants rich in Vitamin C, E and Zinc. Coconut milk is also rich in electrolytes which is important for keeping the heart in normal healthy heart rhythm and other muscle function. Coconut increases HDL and lowers LDL helping to protect blood vessel lining. Coconut milk is also a great source of lauric acid and its antiseptic properties which assist the body in fighting infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and fungi!
Honey is a healthier sugar than refined sugar and contains trace minerals. Honey is absorbed slower in the body which means less of a blood sugar spike. Honey also has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. Eating local honey can also help the body recognize local pollen and become less sensitized to it for allergy sufferers.
Cinnamon is loaded with pephenols and other antioxidants. Cinnamon is also another good anti-inflammatory and can help reduce the risk of heart disease.
