Highland has the privilege of hosting the Metro 7 on 7 Passing League this June. What an incredible opportunity to practice for our boys and what a great chance to raise funds for our program. To that end, we are running a "snack" booth with energy drinks, waters and healthy snacks. We are looking for volunteers that would be willing to take a turn and man the booth. Our games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning 7 June and ending 30 June. We would need people from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Please comment below if you would be interested in taking a spot.

GO HORNETS! It's the last game of our season. Come support Varsity as they play Sandia HS at 7pm tonight Wilson Stadium.

It is also SENIOR NIGHT so please come early 6:15 pm to honor our graduating Hornets.

By the way, Senior Night has been postponed from tonight to next Friday's game against Sandia, 6 Nov 7pm Wilson Stadium. As home team, Sandia will have half-time for their Senior Night. As visiting team, we will have our Senior Night festivities before the game. Please be there by 6:15 pm next Friday.

Hi all! As you may have noticed, I have deleted the post regarding last night's CTeam fiasco. Coach Washington asked me to take it down because it was posted on Highland High School Football's official page. I just want to make it clear that all my posts are not representative of administration nor the coaching staff. I am just a parent, albeit an angry one. I did not know that exercising my First Amendment rights would offend APS.

Happy Friday, HornetNation! I am posting this on behalf of Coach Washington and the rest of the coaching staff. We have an opportunity here to make our voices heard with APS athletics.

We have had some CTeam and JV game cancellations due to inclement weather. One CTeam game will be made up on Monday; however, APS has informed us that Tuesday's cancelled game against Eldorado will not be made up.

All 7 CTeam games were cancelled on Tuesday - all other teams will make up their games. ONLY HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO MAKE UP OUR GAME.

The general consensus seems to be that APS does not believe that Highland has parental and community support to make a big stink. Let's make sure that they know that we take Highland sports seriously. Please call the following numbers to show your support.
