We are so so so so proud of these amazing people ❤️Some of them only started learning Balboa in October and in February joined our Choreography class.
Two month of dedicated hard work and ass kicking practices, but also fun, enthusiasm, dance parties, potlucks, and dancing dancing dancing brought us to this - An amazing Performance of our Choreography!

Presenting to you first Balboa-in-the-Kithcen's Team Routine by
"Balboa Chefs" !

Choreographed and taught on Zoom in the mids of lockdown and social dance depression. Only danced together in person a couple of times before filming in the beginning of summer when everyone was vaccinated and comfortable to come together outside, on a gorgeous day in the Botanical gardens.
Little fire that kept love for Balboa burn through the pandemic.

OCTOBER CLASSES

Common Questions:

❓Are they drop-in?
➡️No, they are progressive and you should take them consecutively to learn, practice and grow in your dancing.

❓$40 per 4 lessons is a complete series?
➡️No, it's ongoing ever evolving and growing series where we charge for 4 lessons at a time, and you are welcome to continue your learning for another 4 lessons and so on.

❓Can I take both Wednesday and Thursday Classes?
➡️ Yes, they are different dance classes and would require you to attend two sets of 4 lessons a month.

❓How do I book a spot?
➡️ You pay in full or 50% of the 4 lesson month to secure your spot in the class, by Venmo.

WHEN and WHERE:
Dance studio in Albuquerque - TBA ( Not Balboa Kitchen)
Classes will start on October 13th or 20th
Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 pm

Classes will start no earlier that October 13th, but as soon after as we get our classes filled.

To fill the classes we need minimum 3 couples or 6 people.
We have a maximum as well, so don't wait up.

SIGNING UP:
We are trying to keep gender balance in our classes and make sure we can pay rent, so signing up ahead of time is required.

You can sign up by paying for the month in full or 50% ( and 50% at the start of the class)
By Venmo. PM us for details.

PRICES:
We are trying our best to keep the prices low for you guys, so we aren't jumping out of our previous frame but as we need to pay rent now we have a minimum amount of paying attendees and require payments ahead.
If we do not meet the requirement we will refund you in full.
* If you change your mind in attending the class in less then 3 days to the start of the class we will not do refunds.

CLASSES:
We offer on-going progressive classes where we teach material that builds upon itself so you can finally get out of the repeating Beginner classes to evolve and grow in your dancing.

Payments will be done by 4 lesson ( one month) at a time.
Which means - There always more to learn and if you would like to continue studying in our school you stay for another month, etc.
The minimum of attendees has to be maintained as well as continuous attendance. * if you missed a full month you might not be able to rejoin.

Two classes that will fill up first will start in October.

SAFETY PERCUSSIONS:

Proof of Vaccination is required to attend our classes.
A picture of a car can be sent to me through emails or PM or shown to me in person.

The Dance studio requires everyone to wear a mask inside the studio.

DANCE & PRACTICE TIME:
Outside dances might be scheduled spontaneously to get together and practice learned material.
