Moments like this have been my joy! I have fought to keep this wonderful place open for training for the last 8 years. Based on the limited space and the tremendous amount of equipment in it, I can not train you safely. It is not the way I wanted it, but it is the way it is. In the meantime, before I say goodbye, I will show highlights of many of my incredible athletes. I will also give you hints about my future endeavors. Love you all Coach Jenkins
I have decided to retire and close, Ardor Elite Training Academy at the end of October.
It BEGAN 11 years ago, when I started training athletes. My 4 sons plus one. The video is horrible, they are not great at the agility, and I had nothing but those cones.
I have coached football and track 25 years or more.
I have trained tens of thousands of athletes, thousands of champions, hundreds of collegiate athletes a few professional and world athletes.
All I really wanted to do was show that New Mexico athletes could compete with anyone in the world.
I have done that.

Ok, one last trip down memory lane. We are finalizing our final college football recruiting trips for my youngest son. We've been as far as Chicago. It has been a great experience! I'm getting to know my son again, I think we butt heads so much, because he is so much like me. Or rather he is so much like I was at 18 years old. Two differences, he is smarter than me, and his temper is not as bad as mine was... both great things. I'm excited to see where he decides to go?
Still think I'm grittier than him tho!

When you're lifting for functional athletic movement you have to go at it a bit differently. Bench Press for looking good is different than pressing to increase you shot put for the Olympics. If you and your trainer doesn't know the difference, then you got problems...
