Can I be honest with you?
I spent two years lying awake in the middle of the night thinking I was broken.
Couldn’t fall asleep no matter how exhausted I was. Woke up with my brain spiraling, creating to-do lists I’d never get through.
During the day, I was a mess. Brain fog so bad I once couldn’t figure out if my car was in drive or reverse. Mood swings that had me losing my s**t because the dog wanted to go out.
I tried all the things. Magnesium, melatonin, regular bedtimes, HRT, therapy, and every diet.
And somehow STILL couldn’t sleep. And all my other symptoms kept getting worse.
Here’s what nobody told me: There’s an overlooked hormone that goes into complete chaos in perimenopause. And when that happens, sleep becomes impossible.
