New Mexico Kendo Kai

We have practices only at North Domingo Baca Center from 6 pm to 8 pm every Wednesday and Friday, except for the third Friday.

Following AUSKF recommendations, we WILL NOT hold any practice for next two weeks, and then re-evaluate on 1/24 whether to resume keiko. Therefore following scheduled keikos will be canceled: 1/12 (Wed), 1/14 (Fri), 1/19 (Wed). (We normally don't have practice on the third Friday.)

Our Friday keiko has now moved to North Domingo Baca Center. The time has also changed. It is now from 6 to 8 pm, and NO KEIKO HELD on every 3rd Friday of month.

Keiko schedule starting July 7, 2021:

Wednesday practices
will be held at North Domingo Baca Center from 6:30 to 8:30 pm,

Friday practices
will be held at Manzano Mesa Center from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Sorry, but the city has decided that we won't be able to start our practice 'til July. We'll announce again as soon as the start date becomes available.

It's official. The centers FINALLY decided to open, and we'll be officially resuming keiko (稽古) on June 16th, Wednesday, from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm at North Domingo Baca Center. Expect another announcement for Friday keiko at Manzano Mesa soon.

Thank you, Shikai sensei! He spent three sessions (Wed, Fri, & Sat long keiko session) to instruct us. It was a great time, and a huge improvement to kendo in New Mexico!
