If I'm feeling grumpy that's MY fault! Not anyone else's. There are some situations which always make me feel tense and annoyed (oddly enough, working out is not one of them!) so I'm working on that, but I'm recognizing it's MY problem when I'm in a funk. 😜👊 you get me?
The sooner you take accountability for your issues (we all have them!) the sooner you will figure them out! Promise!
Yesterday’s workout antics. 🤷🏻♀️😆It’s never perfect, I always have someone breathing down my neck (children, dog, etc) but I always feel better when I get it done. Thanks Iz for supporting mommy in her fitness goals. She tells me, “Mommy go do your workout.” 😂 I’m guessing she’s noticed that it makes me nicer? 🤣🤣
Ploy day with my little HAM BONE! 🏋🏻♀️😝 This is literally the hardest workout I’ve done in all of 2018. Between being newly pregnant, struggling with hormonal problems, being postpartum, breastfeeding and adapting to a full time schedule mama is SPENT! . . . I’m ready to continue to improve my healthy journey in 2019. Bring it on sister! Mama is ready to stop with the excuses and take care of herself again. ❤️ . . . It’s not selfish to take care of yourself! Who wants to get back at it with me? We start next week. I’m ready for y’all! We can struggle through it together! 🤷🏻♀️🍷🍩🍕

Sometimes you scream and cry when you're working out. #thatslife 😆💪 . . . I started an extreme 21 day program and I'm actually excited! Every workout is 30 minutes (my fave!) We did it! A whole week of weight training workouts and we are DONE! 💪😁 Here's the thing... I said I would do a second week of this but my patience is wearing thin with the trainer. 😐 He is not my person. Talks way too much! About meathead stuff! I have been fast-forwarding through the talking. #reallife I know I should do a second week because I'm feeling SO much stronger... can I do it? Can I be patient with him so I can get results for my body? Guess we will find out soon! 🤣

😵Working on my flexibility and realizing it's NOT what it used to be. I'm absolutely loving this program! I needed it so badly. I grew up as a dancer 💃🏼 and always took my flexibility for granted but now this 34 year old body is feeling TIGHT AF... and I don't mean that in a good way! 👵🏻 My goals for this challenge are to focus on nutrition and flexibility. 💕👌💪
Yes, my stomach hangs over my pants. Yes, I'm sweating like a pig and I'm panting like a dog. 🐷 🐶 💦 . . . Yes, I ate all the bad foods yesterday... but!!! I got up and decided today was a new day. Do you know what? That's my LIFE now! 😆I'm always working on balance. I'll never be "perfect" and I'm ok with that! Perfect is BORING!!! All I can do is strive for progress, not perfection, and pray that one day I will get my $hit together. ❤️❤️💪💪 . . . I promise you, if I can do these workouts and nutrition programs ANYONE can. I really should speed these videos up to make myself look cooler... 🙄 . . I've thoroughly enjoyed myself this weekend and that was my plan. Wine, beer, cookies, chips... Reese's peanut butter cups... 😑it's been FUN! One more day of balanced indulgences and this mama is getting back to healthy habits. . . You CAN enjoy your holiday weekends and still be healthy. In honor of #cincodemayo I have set this granny workout to Zumba music! 🎶I miss teaching zumba! . . . When I watch this I realize I am moving SO slowly. No, it's not in slow motion! Ha!! It makes me realize that all the crazy jumping and high intensity workouts I did for so long were NOT changing my body. This stuff is. Slow, controlled, resistance and weight training workouts have truly changed my body. I am leaner than ever. Totally not perfect! But I've come a long way! . . . So I had to get really real with myself today and admit that I have been a little too lax with my fitness and nutrition lately. 🙄 . . . We have been super busy and I haven't been pushing myself as hard with my workouts or meal prepping like I usually do. Well I can feel it and see it and I'm SO sick of it! 😑 . . . The best part about being a health and fitness coach is that I don't let myself get to the point of no return. I have learned to have realistic expectation (life happens!) but I know when to wise up and stop making excuses. . . . It's a lifestyle change. I'm not a bikini competitor, I don't have to be ripped, or have a perfect six pack, I just want to continue to feel good in my own skin. 💃🏻 . . . So I'm pushing forward. No more excuses, just striving for progress over perfection and winning each day. We all deserve to feel our best. ❤❤

Despite the agonizing look on my face I do enjoy working out! 😝 . . Exercise should be a celebration of what your body can do! Not a punishment for something you ate. 👊💕
